"The property was wonderful!"

"It is located in the country. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Since it is run by a private family, I would recommend calling ahead if you are going to arrive late. There were walking trails, and farm animals to look at. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean, Breakfast was very good."

"The outside was not impressive. Looked old & plain. The inside of the room was old (it used an actual key & there wasn't a USB plug to be found) but it was clean & looked properly maintained. The AC worked well! The bed was too soft for my taste but that's a personal opinion not a knock. "Our stay at Allegheny Springs was great. We were on the first floor so we had walkout access to the pool area. A short walk to several restaurants and shops. Fantastic mountain view."

"There was quite a bit of hair in the tub around the drain when we first checked in. It was kind of icky to see that. The room itself was nice though. I'd go back when I want to visit Snowshoe, WV or the surrounding area. The property is right in the middle of the village, which is nice. Close to restaurants and shops."

"Maintenance is lacking on the entire property. The bathroom mirror had a nice saying (not family friendly) on it that showed up vividly when steamed over which happened easily since the fan was useless. "
