"Amazing stay, comfortable beds"

"The property is completely run down. The pool looks to be permanently closed. The breakfast consisted of some unknown pastries, a crockpot of sausage gravy and some yogurt with an expiration date of that day. I was in town for a concert at the amphitheater a couple miles up the road. The next time, I'll drive the 30 minutes to Qwensboro for clean accommodations."

"The home is spacious, clean, and welcoming! We had a wonderful weekend stay with our family of 8. Nice enclosed deck upstairs, a big deck downstairs, and plenty of table/seats. Everyone’s bed had clean sheets, towels smelled fresh and clean, and bathrooms were spotless. The listing was spot on to what we were expecting. Will consider this place again in the future! "This is a great lake home in a beautiful and peaceful location. The house was very well equipped for a relaxing stay. The lake levels are very low due to dam repairs so getting to the water required some walking on the rocks. The fishing off the shore was still excellent and fun. "

"Loved staying in this historic house.Only the porches needed sweeping .I am 94 and loved the handicap bath.Wish they provided a complete history of the Greens.We had looked up some on the computer.Enjoyed our day at the pool and even the rain could not dampen the fun we had the rest of the time."
