"We loved the cabin"

"was a decent place and pretty clean. was pretty disappointed that there was no bedding/linens or towels or any of that. still had a good time tho. prolly a little overpriced."

"This was a very lovely place to stay! Our group of 7 really enjoyed the little house. Could not have picked a better place to stay! The property was super clean, made it feel super homey and safe! When we come back to Welch I would love to stay here again! Thank you to the host for helping us make wonderful memories together!"

"Nice house with lots of room. Very pleased with our stay!"

"Overall an average place to stay. Lag in communication with host (we didn’t have internet for one day of the stay, which was very frustrating in a non service area.) After a second attempt to contact the host 24 hrs later, they were prompt and it was an easy fix. Exterior: The outside yard needs some TLC and the propane grill igniter didn't work. (Just a small thing, but frustrating.) The porch light wasn’t working properly, which made it difficult when coming in at night, but we alerted the...

"The cabin was very nice and enjoyed it. The area is definitely sad. Not really anywhere to eat, very limited on groceries. A very poor area to say the least. I feel bad for the people there because their livelihood was taken from them when the government stop coil from being produced. "

The property is located next to train tracks and trains entering the tunnel sound the horn at all hours. The trains are loud coal trains that run frequently. The house was clean and comfortable, if you can handle the train noise, the property is a fair price. They provide ear plugs to help with the...

"Great access to trail system. Plenty of room. We had 3 buggies and 2 trailers / 2 trucks andHad room for parking. You can hear the train but after a day of riding too tired to hear it. Would stay again. Host very communicative and responsive."

"Convenient to trails. Staff was excellent very friendly. Definitely will stay again "

"Property is nicely located on the western side of the country and worked great for the research study we were in McDowell for. One of the nicer properties we’ve stayed at in the area. Also, the owner is local which was a big plus for us!"
