"Love this new spot in Hood River! They were less than two months old when I stayed, so they were still working on some things, but nothing too annoying. The lobby/bar/basecamp were very nice. Lots of options for seating and lounging. As other reviews mentioned, the rooms are quite small, but the common areas made up for it. And it was still enough space to lounge and watch TV. "The trails close by are perfct to go on with my kids. They can be kind of steep so be prepared to carry the little ones at times. The kitchen has all the utensils needed to cook. Its a small and cozy lodge with plenty of space for large groups. The Tavern has some really good dining options with friendly staff. "
