"This hotel was filthy. I had to take Lysol wipes that I had in my car to wipe down all surfaces including the floors. My room was not cleaned for three of the four nights of our stay, The desk clerk said we had to request it. It was never disclosed to me that this was the process and it was not posted anywhere. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Staff was OK. Parking was OK. "

"Property was quiet and our room was clean with an incredibly comfortable bed. This is an older building and so rooms are smaller but it suited our need as a "home base" for two nights as we were only in the room to sleep. Quick commute to and from Durham."

More than enough space for two and we enjoyed all of the spaces- family room for a nap, covered patio for lunch, the den for a movie before bed. I appreciated having a tub option and all the small amenities, waters and bathroom toiletries were a life saver! Gorgeous grounds that felt like coming home each evening."

"The house was absolutely stunning and serene. The hosts were very accomodating and kind when we made a few requests. The hot water heater initially wasnt working but they came and sent someone to fix it immediately. 5/5 will stay here again."
