"After checking in a thunderstorm came through a couple hours later and knocked the power out. There was no backup generator and the power didn’t come back on till after midnight. I stayed in my truck in the parking lot till power came back on. When I checked out the next morning, there was no offer of a discount or partial refund for the power being out. Would not stay there again."

"Taylor or Tayler was on point with everything very informative and accommodating at late check in after a disaster booking on Expedia (Days Inn) in Selma, NC after going to my old Command SGM Haswell’s funeral on 07/07/2026. I left Selma, NC and was headed back home to Lenoir NC. Taylor was exceptionally great at her job and she had a heart and was sympathetic to what I had just went through at the last hotel. I also liked this hotel was smoke free, thank you for that environment on the hotel...

"Room was clean and comfortable and pretty quiet. The breakfast included scrambled eggs sausage cereal yogurt and was delicious. Overall I was very satisfied."

"We were greeted by friendly staff when we arrived! We were provided bottled water and cookies. The room was clean and well stocked with towels and washcloths. The continental breakfast was good and the staff kept all the different food items stocked. The staff was always polite and eager to assist if needed."

"The pool was small but clean. There was a no so good smell(smoke). The sofa bed was dirty and the refrigerator wasn't plugged in we found out later. Two guests and 1 bottle of water. The bar was out of just about everything. It was a pretty low price so maybe shouldn't expect much."
