"First thing we did upon getting in the room was to check the bed sheets and the toilet, both of which were quite clean. The place is dated, but clean. The floors everywhere in our room, above and adjacent to our room give a good squeak upon every footstep, which to me was a throwback to some houses I grew up in, I didn't mind it. Staff were friendly."

"It may not be the most luxurious and comfortable place but it was a safe quiet and warm and cozy room. Also waking up and sitting by the river in the frost is worth any small issues."

"This is an amazing small property to stay. I’ve actually stayed there three times this year. The property Managers are terrific and the amenities are perfect! Beds are super comfortable! Mary Toward"

"The rentals easy walking distance from Stanley’s restaurants and while more expensive than the local hotels, you have a whole house to yourself. It was spacious and clean, well stocked with the little things - salt and pepper - no one wants to buy for a couple of nights. For awareness, the water like a lot of places in the area is sulfur scented, so bring bottled water if sensitive. Recommend!"

"Host was very responsive. The only complaint would be the air conditioner did not cool down the property during the heat of the day."

"So disappointed, no staff onsite. Cabin and bathrooms were very cold and unsanitary. Only linens on one bed (there is 2 beds) that had stains on them and looked like someone just slept in them. Other bed had dead flies, crumbs, dirt on it. Trash and beer bottles. Could not stay in cabin. Have contacted property about this situation and still after 4 days no response. "

"We are a repeat guest, which already says a lot about how much we enjoy staying here. The home is private and secluded, but at the same time just minutes away from fishing, hiking, canoeing, or grabbing an exceptional bite in "town." (I highly recommend Stanley Baking Company, Sawtooth Hotel Restaurant, Papa Brunee's Pizza and Stanley Supper Club. They are all 5-10 minutes away and you won't be disappointed.) And if you want to just hang around the house, it is hard to beat coffee or lunch on...

"The cabin was amazing ..very cozy and well stocked. Greeted by Jim and delicious cookies. The property was quiet..very scenic with beautiful Mountain Views and short distance to the hiking trail . Thank you Jim for everything ..we had an awesome time. Looking forward to our next visit."

"The space was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities to prepare a meal, host-provided snacks and beverages were a nice addition, and an easy 5 minute drive into Stanley. Everything was great! We really appreciated the porch seating in the morning and evening. Very peaceful atmosphere."
