"We were looking for a location close to Walla Walla and state parks (Palouse Falls). Dayton is a nice little city and Hardware Hotel is a great place to stay. Hotel was recently renovated with style. Rooms are large with high ceilings, well-equipped (good bedding and bathroom) and we loved the atmosphere. We received room# and access code in advance. No staff onsite but you still reach out if needed (phone or bar next to the lobby during hours)"

"Had to fix the queen bed frame. The mattres was creeky. Replaced light bulbs in dining room. Only 4 dining room chairs for an 5 bedroom house. Only part of the lights in living room worked. Kitchen is dark, no mixing bowls, 6 peelers, 5 bottle openers no can opener, no toaster and a few drinking glasses. Ended up mopping the floors because my granddaughters socks were dirty after walking on the floors when we got there. Was going to bring my little dog, but left him with a friend. There is a...

"The hosts were amazing! We had a collision with a buck on our way & they met us on arrival to see if we were OK. The bunkhouse is a cool throwback to ranching days. I loved the shower set up! They had all the pots, pans, dishes, etc. needed to cook dinner and breakfast. It's off the beaten path, so very peaceful! "
