"Through no fault of their own the hotel was in terrible shape. It is evident the economy in this area has definitely seen very hard times. The pictures on the website are definitely outdated. We only stayed because we had no other option. We had been driving too long and did not know area to find something else. Plus it was prepaid/no refund. We slept in our clothes on top of the covers and we had to sit on the bed because the upholstered chair was so filthy. I am not usually a complainer...

"There was hair all over the bathroom floor and shower. Sheets were on backwards as the sheet tag kept poking me. We had a suite. Not sure how a tiny couch constitutes a suite but it was an over priced standard room. Deeply disappointing."

"We chose to stay because we had family nearby, not for hunting or fishing purposes. The room was really clean, well stocked with dishes and linens, shampoo etc. we had a view of the lake, even though it’s a short distance away. Nice boat landing area too. Would definitely recommend!"

"This is an older property that is kept clean and neat. Staff are friendly & helpful. There are 5 breakfast choices that are included with room rate and served in the adjacent restaurant. "

Room walls had minor damage, towels are frayed and should be replaced. Manger's voice is so loud, everyone can hear her during breakfast. No elevator for 2nd floor. Clock in room is not set properly and cannot be adjusted. Walls were spot painted. Room had broken sheetrock bead. TV was not functioning until...

"Everything felt warm and welcoming, just like home. The house and kitchen were clean, and I had a great overall experience. I would rate it between good and excellent. My only suggestion would be to update some of the household items."
