"Absolutely loved this place. Not only is it very picturesque but it's got that old English charm and is steeped in history with a museum and walking trail to the Fort Berkeley, giving lovely views of the Ocean.
I loved being able to take the boat across to the infinity pool which was divine and to Galleon beach. One can also take Kayaks out for a trip around the harbor. "

"We loved our stay in st james. The location is unbeatable, the beaches are great for swimming, we loved our beachfront room. All the staff were nice and friendly. We booked two offsite excursions through the hotel which ran smoothly and we enjoyed a lot. We would love to be back soon."

"Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage.
Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries.
Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items.
Nice balcony surrounded by trees. However, one of the cats was a real problem coming onto the balcony and leaving mess on the couch.
Heavy music from a nearby property was a problem on occasions.
Kitchen surfaces were dirty on our arrival and there was no hot water or even...

"This is a great place to stay. Three large bedrooms, a fully functional kitchen with new outdoor grill, indoor and outdoor eating spaces, sun loungers and a small pool to cool off when it's too hot. There is no ocean view, so no sunsets from the patio. Beaches are close by - Jolly is closest at a 10 min walk or 3 mins with drive, but by far the better beaches are Darkwood and Turners just a few minutes drive down the road. It's easiest if you have a car rented so you can access all parts of...
