Cons:
They lied about reservation being paid upon arrival - had to email them proof that I had already been charged!
20 minute check in process
Old, outdated grounds and rooms
No where to place clothes in room, lived out of suitcase
No housekeeping - had to request new towels and sheets and make our beds myself.
Mini fridge only on request
Young staff, reception and some bartenders were miserable and mean.
Poor staff communication - messed up our dinner reservation (only had one). Tried to charge us for food/drinks at Mangrove even though all-inclusive.
Not much entertainment except at night for a few hours.
Wouldn't allow extended checkout despite empty resort and had to fight with reception to get another room for a few hours. Charged $50 extra.
Pros:
Pools and grounds kept extremely clean, despite being oudated.
Older staff, kitchen staff, bellboys super nice!
A la carte dinner was excellent.
Drinks were made well most of the time.
Coconut Grill food was great!
Resort had max 40-50 guests on any given day. Plenty of beach and pool chairs everywhere.
The saving grace for this resort was the pool and the beach. One of the most beautiful, perfect settings you could ever visit in the Caribbean. Wouldn't go back to this resort because they don't seem to want you there, but would definitely go to the beach again and again.
