"Villa Ad Astra is set in beautiful gardens overlooking the beach and is the perfect place to relax and be well cared for by Nilanga the site manager who was also our careful driver and Deepika and her team who cooked the most wonderful meals, so much so we didn’t want to go out and try the local restaurants.We would highly recommend a stay here."

"We stayed here twice in a week. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the location as well. One of the few good quality accommodations near beruwala. This villa is owned by a very nice family, who were so accommodative, and helped us and we're very flexible. They also prepared good breakfast and provided nice conversation. Highly recommend for travellers and business in the area. "

"Clean room with a new big bathroom. The pool was big and the garden is very nice. I don’t know why some reviewers write that its dirty, wasn’t our experience at all. Maybe other rooms are different but ours was very clean and excellent value for the Price."

"Tara Garden is a jewel in a large garden with lots of exotic fruits. The 15m pool with its 30 degrees (or more, wonderful) warm water. The rooms are spacious, the master bedroom on the first floor is huge with a large balcony and seating area, 2 rooms with pool access and patio furniture. "Dulanga the host and his family have been just fantastic in looking after us , they arranged a great chef to cook for all the family, all our food has been great and the pool has been amazing as it is clean and sparkling , the boys come and clean 2 times a day and provide whatever we required.Internet was working good which is something you do not always get in Sri Lanka.
