The Islander 607 Platinum, Gulf front completely updated w/FREE beach service

The Islander Resort Unit 607 is located on secluded Holiday Isle in Destin, Florida along the beautiful Emerald Coast. This beach front, east-side, Platinum graded, vacation condo rental accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom, queen in the guest bedroom, and a premium mattress sleeper sofa in the living room. Destin's sugar-white sand beach and emerald waters are just steps away and can also be enjoyed with a direct and panoramic view of the beach and Gulf from your private balcony.

Unit 607 is completely renovated with unobstructed beach/water views, new furniture in both bedrooms, dining room, and living room including a leather Lazy Boy recliner. Other updates include: keyless entry, relocated refrigerator to improve sightlines (not many units offer this), quartz countertops throughout, stainless steel appliances, Keurig coffee maker, ceiling fans, large flat screen TVs in every room, smart TV in living room, vinyl plank flooring and mirrored sliding closet doors in both bedrooms, new glass shower doors, new sliding glass balcony door leading to panoramic views, and an oversized walk-in shower in the master bath.

Amenities include:
-FREE tickets to top local attractions, including Big Kahuna’s Waterpark, Sea Blaster Dolphin Cruise, deep sea fishing, Cruisin’ Tikis, and several premier golf courses.
- 2 large swimming pools (east pool heated in the winter) and 2 hot tubs
- 2 beach chairs and 1 beach umbrella per day included at no extra cost (March 1st through October 31st). Additional sets are available for a fee.
- Paddleboards and kayaks available for rental
- Large, covered grilling area with tables and chairs
- Tennis, pickleball, basketball, and shuffleboard on site
- Commercial grade, coin operated laundry facility on site
- Exercise room on site
- Initial supply of paper towels, toiletry, trash bags and soaps
- Ice and other sundries available for purchase at the front desk
- Towel/linen exchange offered 2 times per week
- Kids Club Program free for all guests (inquire @ Front Desk)
- Daily, family friendly activities including arts/crafts, painting on the beach, sandcastle building demonstrations, live music, Dive In Movie night (movies on the big screen pool side)
- VIP List of Excursions/Restaurant Discounts for Islander renters only
- Walk to Destin Water Taxi for fun, easy access to Harborwalk Village

I booked this as a last minute getaway to enjoy some warm weather overlooking the beach. This place was awesome! It looks exactly like the photos, very clean, and well appointed. The bed was SOOOO comfortable with a great ocean view. We spent a lot of time on the balcony as it has a perfect view of the gulf, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the dolphins swim by every morning. Two swimming pools, shuffle board, tennis/pickleball, and easy access to the beach with complementary chairs/umbrella. This was such a great unit, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for an awesome stay!!

This is our second stay. there have been improvements in the Islander . the condo was great the is extraordinary. the dolphins swam by every morning for Coffee time on the balcony.

Great condo for family

Enjoyed the condo, location was great, it was clean and pictures show exactly what you get! Beach and pool access were wonderful (especially the complementary chairs/umbrellas). Plenty of dishes, pots/pans, and anything else you would need. If I had to think of a con I would say the check-in time. The check-in process was great however, when we booked it stated that we could check in at 3pm but when we arrived the front desk stated that check in is guaranteed by 5pm. (somewhat misleading). Luckily our room was ready at 3pm. Overall, no complaints…We would come back for sure! 😄

spectacular view with easy access to the Gulf.

It was a relaxing stay with beautiful view of the Gulf. You could watch the dolphins swim by with coffee on the balcony. Pool and hot tub were wonderful but access to the Gulf was a winner. Minutes from major attractions in Destin. Would go back tomorrow.

I rented thru vrbo. A week before my stay the property called me and told me that they had to move me to a different room. I asked why the move. They said the owner was displaced by the hurricane. The room I origanally rented had 2 queen beds. The new room had one queen and two twins. Needless to say sleeping on the twin bed was not my choice and was not comfortable. The apt was clean. I was very disappointed in the bed choice for 2 adults taking a girl trip and having to sleep on a twin size bed. They told me that there was only 2 choices and both had twin beds in one bedroom.

Much needed Get away!
