Message for special monthly rates for Nov, Dec and Jan. IT IS A GEM! This two bedroom, two bath condo with washer-dryer is an ideal first floor unit with a nice patio area overlooking a park-like setting AND the gulf.
The master suite opens onto the patio and the second bedroom has its own private bath.
Enjoy not waiting for the crowded elevator especially during the busy season.
Walk straight out the patio doors to the pool and the beach.

Perfect location

I loved the location of this condo! It was so nice being able to walk right to the beach and pool from the balcony. So convenient not having to use elevators or walk though the building. We also loved the tiki hut right on the beach (mixed drinks for the adults, virgin drinks for the teens, ice-cream for the kids and food)

Birthday trip

We had a wonderful time at this resort, in this location!! We loved the convenience of the ground floor and the ease of getting to the pools, tiki bar, exercise room, etc. The owner was quick to reply to any questions, and minor issues we had (broken lawn chair) and was quick to replace it so quickly. The only thing I would want to report to the owner is that the sliding patio door is very heavy and sticks. It needs some TLC to make it easier to manage. We all agreed that this was a great choice!! Thank you

Fun Vacation

We enjoyed our stay and convenience of a walkout unit! The beach is amazing!! It was nice having multiple pools and a hot tub right outside the door. The workout facility is right next door as well. The location is the best!!

Family Vacation

We had the best time! The location on the first floor overlooking a pool was the best! Being able to access the room from the parking garage or pool/beach was perfect for a family! You do not have to wait for elevator and can go directly to the room. The amenities of the resort were outstanding! Two bedrooms and one was perfect for the kiddos. We loved our stay and would love to stay here again!

Walk out beach unit

The inside was pretty basic but you could walk right out to a grassy area next to the cafe. It was nice not to have to wait on an elevator to get to the pools or beach. The Cafe and Tiki Bar were great for snacks and drinks. The kids had their own room with bunk beds with a trundle and twin bed. Kitchen had basic cooking supplies, but nothing plastic.

Walk out property!

We LOVED Destin! The condo was good, it met our needs. It is on the first floor, which with kids was a major bonus! It's right by one of the pools, the cafe, and the BBQ. This made watching the kids swimming a lot more convenient. The kitchen was full of everything you might need to prepare meals. It was also nice to have beach chairs included. The condo is older with some upgrades (newer floors and kitchen appliances), the beds were not that comfortable but we were so tired from being at the beach all day that it did not matter. The only TV that works appropriately is the one in the living room. I reached out after our first day to get assistance connecting them but never heard a response.

Outstanding experience!

We had the best time at Pelican Beach. It was our first time going through VRBO and will only travel this way in the future. Great communication from the property owner. Room was exceptional for a family of 5. Best location on ground floor - easy access to beach, pools, and food. We are ready to plan the next return trip!

I brought my 15 yr old daughter and 18 yr old son. They both brought a friend. The condo was so conveniently located being on the bottom floor! The kids loved it, we would definitely come back :)

Convience of walk out vs. no balcony view

Overall we loved Pelican Beach amenities(3 pools, indoor pool, fitness center, cafe, drink hut, live music on Thursdays) I would rent beach chairs very early if you want front row. This unit is located near pool, fitness center and cafe. Also very easy to unload your things. Condo is dated as far as decor but it served our purposes. We got on the beach early, stayed out all day, showered and wemy to dinner. So really just there to sleep and it was totally fine for this. If you are one who likes to spend alot of time in condo and on balcony looking at the ocean keep looking. I was worried about noise level with it being on the bottom level but it was very quiet at night. Strict quiet hours after 10:00. Condo had 2 beach chairs, umbrella and 3 boogie boards in master closet which was nice Tufan was very helpful when we had any issues and was very easy to work with as far as booking.

Wonderful location!

Location location location! I could not have asked for a better location. Being on the ground floor made everything so much more convenient, pool was literally a few feet from the back door, beach was less than a 5 minute walk, you really just have to walk past a pool and patio to get to the beach. I wanted to stay somewhere that was close enough to the beach that we wouldn’t have to drive, and that’s exactly what I got here. It’s also within walking distance/short drive to tons of restaurants, grocery stores, and things to do. The kids are already asking when we’re going back!

Second time visitor

The Unit is the best unit on the property, direct access to the resort pools and small walk through the property to get to the beach. The first floor access makes for an amazing stay at the beach no need to lug all your stuff up and down an elevator. I look forward to year 3 at this property next year :)

Great for our little family

My husband and I had our 3yr old and 6yr old with us for a little family get away. The location worked well with area restaurants. Being on the first floor made pool and beach access very easy. The pools were great! The beach was great! Bunk beds for the kids are always exciting.

Overpriced

This is the first beach vacation in which we stayed in a multi-family property. In fact last summer we stayed in a large, beautiful, newly constructed, sparkling clean and beautifully decorated house that slept 10 people with three full bathrooms, on the beach, our own personal beach, in the Bahamas for less than we paid for this place! So, as you can imagine trying to find a spot of the beach with Thousands of other people was not fun

Nice Stay

I gave 4 stars because of my experience with Tufan. Realistically probably 3.5. Cleanliness- the property could use a good deep clean and paint job. However, I’m a little bit of a hotel snob and there was nothing I couldn’t handle. Surface was clean. Beds and towels were clean. Nothing too terrible. Walkout was nice as far as access but patio is not at all private and there are always people around as the indoor/outdoor pool and cafe are literally right beside it. Cannot really see beach from patio. Walk to beach and pools were very short though so that was nice. Tufan was great to deal with. Parking was fantastic and everyone at the resort was easy to deal with as well. Location in the city was great and close to everything also. A little too large of a condominium for my taste, but Overall I can see this being a great place to stay for families- especially with younger children. We had a great stay.

Always a good time in Destin

This was our first time actually staying in Destin. The condo was a perfect layout for our group of 2 adults, 2 kids. It was clean and had pretty much everything we needed for the week. Kitchen was stocked well with all needed items and there was plenty of fluffy bath linens. Having a washer/dryer was awesome as well. Tufan was super easy to work with and answered all our questions. Great location, just a short walk through the pool areas to the amazing beach. Some advice: If you stay plan on bringing extra TP and trash bags as there were only starters and not enough for our stay. Also bring beach towels as there aren't any in the room to use. Book your beachside chairs early to get the best spot. Also if you haven't stayed at this property before, it's very kid-friendly. Being right next to the kids pool and BBQs would be great for younger kids to be able to keep an eye on them from the patio. But it is also quite noisy so if you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is not it. The water park is directly across the street and walkable, along with souvenir shops and small gas-station markets to get ice, etc. The beach service was excellent and the drinks were good enough to write home about. Overall great stay--thanks for opening your home to us!

Great location, super functional propertt

We had a lovely trip to Destin, the owner provided a significant amount of details and ideas ahead of time which made our stay seamless! The location on the first floor was very convenient to the beach, cafe, and pools. The property itself could use a little updating, (old furniture, wobbly kitchen table) but nothing that prevented us from having a lovely time. We would definitely go back!

Perfect getaway!!!

The condo was exactly as described, perfect location and price was on point! The condo cannot be in a better location it’s proximity to the beach was the best part and the ease of walking out the patio to the pool areas made life so much easier. The wait time for elevators to the top floors looked terrible so being on ground floor and bypassing all that made it awesome. The condo had all the amenities and truly was the perfect getaway for the kiddos before school started!! We will definitely be back!!

Great Place

The condo was in a great spot, on the first floor right beside the pools and walkway to the beach. Check in and check out was easy. Also, in a great location for restaurants: The Pancakery & Mimmo’s! Would definitely stay again.
