Rise and shine! Its beach time at Jade East 1550! The walls of windows and private balcony flood this Destin vacation rental with so much sunshine that you’ll be racing to get to the beach each morning. Enjoy the glorious Gulf in all its stages from the strawberry-lemonade tinted sunrise to the glistening silver waves under the moonlight- you’ll have a front row seat!

With upgrades like new furnishings, fresh paint throughout and new plantation shutters, Jade1550 boasts a modern and tastefully calming décor. Three spacious bedrooms are your ticket to comfort and relaxation. The newly renovated kitchen is sure to inspire the inner chef in you with its granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances while the master suite begs you to relax in the luxury bathroom featuring double shower heads in the giant walk-in shower. Really though, 1550 turns even the most energetic person into a beach bum- it’s impossible not to relax on the sugar-white sand below.

There is something to suit the whole family with full tennis and basketball courts, a fitness facility, a community grilling area, and free wireless internet. Take the smooth boardwalk to hours of sunny bliss on the world’s most beautiful beaches, or snooze on the spacious pool deck by the rock waterfall and hot tub.

Plus, Jade East enjoys an excellent location in the heart of Destin. Award winning restaurants, superb golf courses, and beautiful open-air malls are all just minutes away.

This property comes with 2 parking spaces.


We require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.
We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.

In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.

Good Location, Pretty Clean

Could use some mold abatement, the beach service company is pretty rude though they said they aren’t associated with the property itself but the property was accurately described, we liked the leather couches. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. Beautiful beach and nice pool. Check in was extremely easy and parking was convenient.

Great location and views

Check in was a breeze with very detailed instructions for both gate code + door code. The private marked off area on the beach specifically for jade east was nice. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room + balcony allowed for endless views for the entire vacation!

Jade West is the Best

Jade West is the best and we will definitely stay there again. The pictures do not do the condo justice it everything we needed and then some. The beach was beautiful and we had so much fun. The people were friendly. I was surprised that we had security which made us feel very secure.

Great view, short on consumable items

It was actually as pictured. However there was not an office with someone on the property for issues. Consumable items such as paper towels, trash bags, dish/laundry soap was not even enough to get us through half a day. We had to immediately go find a store and buy lots of consumables that we had to leave since we couldn’t take home on the plane. The condo should provide enough for the time period you are staying.

Great views! Saw sharks and dolphins from the balcony almost every day. Pool was clean and room was very clean. Beach service was great. Would absolutely stay here again

Spring Break 2021

This was a fantastic property and location. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it gave our family plenty of room to spread out. The condo was clean and well maintained. The pool and surrounding property was great as well. And the beach service was excellent.....the guy setting up the umbrellas/chairs daily was out there when the sun came up! We would stay here again!

Spring break week

The ice maker in the refrigerator did not work nor did the free standing ice maker work, neither never made ice. Not enough eating utensils or dinner ware. We did have enough towels, hand towels or wash cloths. The master bedroom closet was full of bed linens and decorative pillows. The unit needed some repairs in the kitchen around the baseboards. The unit overall was good and we enjoyed our stay!

Last minute family vacation

We booked this property about 2 weeks prior to our visit. The pictures show the property very accurately. One thing that wasn't noted in the narrative is the Washer/Dryer are located in the bathroom closet of the guest suite. It wasn't a big deal other than no one could do laundry while someone was sleeping. The photo of the beach is exact! The pool is clear and the hottub feels amazing. There were a few items that I reported to the property manager and someone came up the following day to address them. There are a few things that need to be fixed/addressed by the owners: The ice machine under the counter ran non-stop and never made any ice. It would be useful to have instructions on which way to turn the dial to make more or less ice. We found that with the amount of ice the freezer makes, we had plenty without the additional maker. Would rather have had more cabinet space. The toilet in the master suite is slightly loose and there is a lightbulb out over the sink. The toilet in the bathroom with the bathtub runs if the handle isn't jiggled. The lightbulb above the bathtub is out. The dryer heats and runs, but takes 3-4 hours to dry a load of laundry. It would be useful to have some operating instructions for the W/D for those of us still using the "old non-smart models." Both the W/D are newer and very nice, and with the exception of the amount of time it took to dry clothes, we were more than pleased with them. The third toilet, in the bathroom with only a stand-up shower, runs all the time and maintenance did come to look at it, but it didn't get fixed during our stay. The ceiling fan in the bedroom with 2 beds is either missing the cord to turn on the light or the lightbulb is burned out. Maintenance looked at this as well and was going to return to fix it. The clock in the kitchen needs a new battery. The only small complaint I have is we found a couple gas station Styrofoam cups behind the curtains on the window ledge that is behind the couch. So you may want to make sure the cleaning crew are looking behind & under things. None of these items are/were critical and it didn't affect our stay. They are simply items that I want to make sure the owner is aware of. I give this Condo a 5 star rating and would stay at this location again!

Jade East 1550

This was a wonderful condo with great views of the beach! The size was just right for our family of 7 and I'm so glad I chose one with 3 bathrooms LOL. The beach concierge service folks were amazingly attentive and when we had a small issue with needing a new cable tv box, the Newman Daily staff was super fast in rectifying the situation. I'd definitely stay here again.

Property was amazing. The condo looked exactly how it is pictured. We had plenty of linens. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. Checking in after hours was our only problem. We didn't have the gate code to get in. Over all it was perfect and I can't wait to go back.
