Welcome to The Islander 217, a charming second-floor condo located on the serene Holiday Isle in Destin, FL. Ideal for up to 6 guests, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit proudly holds a Platinum rating!

Since becoming new owners in 2020, we’ve completely updated the condo with all-new furniture, decor, and lighting. In 2023, we enhanced it further by creating an open floor plan, remodeling the kitchen, removing the popcorn ceiling, and installing new LVP flooring throughout. Upon entry, you’ll be welcomed by stylish coastal contemporary decor. The fully equipped kitchen features modern appliances, including a Keurig, an air fryer, and a standard coffee maker for your convenience. The bar-height dining table provides additional storage. The inviting living room includes a sofa sleeper and a 65" flat-screen smart TV for your entertainment.

The master bedroom is a retreat with a luxurious king-size bed, ample storage, and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a shower/tub combo, double sinks, and granite countertops. The guest bedroom is versatile, featuring a queen-size bed, high-low twin bunk beds, and a pack-and-play playpen.

Step out onto the private balcony to enjoy sweeping views of the East Pass and breathtaking sunsets over Lake Christina—an ideal spot to unwind after a day in the sun.

Guests at The Islander can enjoy a variety of resort-style amenities, including:

• Private beach access with FREE BEACH SERVICE from March 1st to October 31st
• Two swimming pools (one heated in the winter) and two hot tubs
• Shuffleboard, tennis courts, four pickleball courts, and a half basketball court
• Pavilion with BBQ grills
• On-site coin laundry and linen/beach towel exchange (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
• Mini fitness center
• Conference room

Additional Information:

• No smoking in units or on balconies (designated smoking areas are available).
• No pets allowed.
• Occupancy limit: Maximum of 6 guests per unit.
• Kids Club Program: Complimentary for all guests (inquire at the front desk).
• Borrow Bins: Share pool and beach toys.
• Initial Supplies: A starter set of paper towels, toiletries, and trash bags is provided. Guests will need to replenish these items once the initial supply is used up.

The unit was very clean and so nice. The location was amazing since it was in the middle of everything. The only down side was there was no additional lock on the door so my toddler could easily get out of the room.

Great location and friendly!

We enjoyed the location of the room and the condo itself. Quiet and close to the stairs. Clean and updated. Parking was a breeze. We enjoyed the west pool. Staff organized activities each day were a great enjoyment for our kids. Beach service was a great convenience and friendly staff. We would love to stay again.

Great place!

Unit was as shown in photos. Great location in Destin as well as location at the resort. Second floor, right next to the stairs was very convenient and we were always able to park in a great spot as well. We loved the west pool and hot tub, and the beach was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Ride Sally Ride!

Unfortunately we stayed during the week of Hurricane Sally, but this gave us the opportunity to really enjoy the accommodations as we were inside for the better part of 2 days. The Unit was clean and extremely convenient to the stairwell being an end unit and on the 2nd floor making traversing to and from the unit very easy.

The condo was very comfy and very clean. We had access to (2) pools and the beach. Any of he 3 could be accessed without any issue and were all within walking distance. We really enjoyed staying at the condo, it was well furnished and had everything we needed. Short walk to the beach, which had chairs and umbrellas for everyone. Our son loved the beach and the pool! We would definitely come back again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Islander. The inside is upgraded all the way. Multiple pools are on site as well as a grill /gazebo area for cookouts. The VIP service including chairs and umbrellas is tremendously appreciated in the sweltering August heat! All of the Destin bars / restaurants are just a short drive to enjoy. Be sure to check out the coffee shop about a mile away from the property as well

Wonderful

My wife and I stayed here and the place was very clean, quiet, and the beach was just a short walk. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The laundry room is on the same floor and it was clean as well. We had a great time and would most definitely go back and stay there again.

Fantastic Destin accomodations

Our family of 5 recently stayed at this Islander beach condo property in Destin. The location was great and the condo was even better than the pictures online indicated. The only thing that kept my review from 5 stars was that the WIFI failed on a second day and we had to use our own personal hotspot for internet access.

Amazing location!

My family amd myself traveled from Oklahoma to this Condo and the 14 hour drive was so worth it! I can't say enough about the location. The condo is a couple minute walk to the private beach! The beach was very busy each day, but with having the VIP capabilities they always had an umbrella and a couple chairs set up and ready to go for us. Walmart and target are just a short drive away for all your needs. This condo make you feel right at home.

The owner was very easy to work with. The condo was newly painted and nicely kept

Lots of restaurants and entertainment near the condo site. Condo owner very easy to deal with and always available. We did have to get both bathrooms recleaned upon our arrival. Housekeeping was quick to respond but it was a turn off. Staff was nice. It was our first time staying in a coin laundry facility...you are made aware of this before hand but not a big fan. I will say I'm glad it was on same floor vs having to haul laundry up and down stairs/elevators. I did like the green space we overlooked as kids had a large area to play whiffle ball/tag/vball etc.
