Destin on the Gulf Condominiums is located directly on the beach in exclusive Holiday Isle in Destin, Florida, which is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. This low rise, 6-story complex offers a gulf front pool, shuffleboard courts, a BBQ grilling area, an exercise room and coin laundry on each floor. With a private boardwalk and walkway, visitors have easy access the sugar-white sandy beaches and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Paradise is just footsteps away from your room.

Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. When you book a vacation, you do not imagine it being infested with roaches. Unfortunately, that was our experience on this trip. We have stayed at Destin on the Gulf in different condos more than 5 times. This is the only condo unit where we have experienced this disgusting problem. We killed more than 12 roaches, most of them babies, throughout the week. Even after we were told they had come to spray 2 times, we were still killing roaches that were alive and well. I had nightmares about roaches and have been stressed all week about the possibility of them somehow getting into our belongings and infesting our home. One was crawling on the covers near my son’s face one morning. I was told to take pictures when the problem persisted, but I am not trying to have a photo op. I’m trying to kill them before they get away. We also purchased a Swiffer mop and solution because the floors were so filthy. It’s crazy because the condo smelled so fresh and clean when we entered that I thought it had been cleaned well, but I was very wrong. It seems they were aware of the roach problem because my dad found bait stations under the kitchen sink. I wish we would have been given an alternate property without this issue, but we were not informed of the problem prior to our arrival.

Great location , 2 minutes walking to the beach . We also like the easy check- in process . A little improvement, I would say the bed is not as comfortable as I thought it would be . Over all I would give it great!

This is a very nice condo in a great location. Close to great restaurants and the harbor boardwalk. Very short 100 yard walk to the beach. Clean pool and plenty of parking. Beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this condo.

Perfect location! Loved the clubhouse room down off the lobby we were able to gather with other family members that stayed in different rooms. Loved the book in the room with restaurant ideas and favorite dishes the owners love. Everything we needed for a great stay!!! ❤️

Property is just as listed, the view to the beach is awesome, accessibility to property and beach is great. Very welcoming when arriving and very clean. No issues at all will definitely use this property in the near future. We all enjoyed our stay and recommend it 100%. Location is great as well and only allows guests from condos and surrounding owners access to beach, not over crowded at all

Can’t beat the location right off the sands of Destin Beach. The unit was clean, though we weren’t expecting 4 flights of stairs to get to the door… don’t worry, there is a set of elevators, but plan ahead. The beds were comfortable, and the unit was well kept. Reasons for 4 stars and not 5: there was no beach chair service associated with this unit, there were absolutely no “extras” in the kitchen like you’ll often find at VRBOs (salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc), the pots and pans were getting a bit old, and there were no blankets for any of the beds, just sheets! Also, bring some TP, dishwashing pods, a roll of quarters (coin op laundry only, and you need to go outside to access it), and paper towels, because they only provide the bare minimum to get you started. Great for a couple days’ stay, but not for a family of 5 for one week. All in all, it was a cute unit, but we won’t be back because we can often find houses in other locations where you get a bit more bang for your buck.

This property is located in Holiday Isle which turned out to be the perfect place! Beaches weren’t too crowded, beach chair service was great, and the condo was beautifully decorated and redone. Did have a couple minor issues with spills/marks on walls from previous tenants and a frying pan put away still somewhat dirty. Contacted the property manager and they immediately responded to notify the cleaning crew. All in all, I would stay here again. The condo was spacious, wonderfully decorated and the beach area was beautiful!

We loved the condo very much and we found everything the same as it is explained on the website . The beach is one minute from the condo which we loved . The pool is also excellent . Will be back .
