This second-floor, three-bedroom, two-bath, pet-friendly condo with a split bedroom arrangement and open-concept with vaulted ceiling, is ideal for two families. Spacious and bright, there is room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their beach vacation in style! The roomy living room is comfortable for family movie night.

This family-friendly unit includes a washer and dryer, so there's no vacation laundry necessary when arriving back home. But we warn you–it's truly hard to leave here! It's conveniently located just across the street from 230 feet of our own private stretch of the shimmering white sands and glittering emerald waters that make Destin beaches famous.

Chateau La Mer is a desirable, family-oriented complex, perfect for a peaceful get-away. And don't leave Fido behind! There are large expanses of lawn and sidewalks along the gorgeous beach. Walk to restaurants. Cool off in the large community pool that is seasonally heated. Try your hand at tennis or shuffleboard, located on-site. Prepare local delicacies on the complex's outdoor grills. Or make arrangements to entertain in the neighborhood clubhouse. There is no through-traffic, so families with children can easily enjoy the outdoors.

Everything you need is nearby and Destin offers so many different recreational activities, there is something for every member of the family. From arts and culture to eco-tourism, from fine dining to quick bites, from sports and adventure to shopping and spas; the Destin area has it all.

Host was great with communication and all the information given via email made it easy to find/ access the home seamlessly. Place was very spacious with lots of towels, pillows, etc for everyone in our party. There is an in-unit washer and dryer too. Access to the beach was easy, & very close.

AMAZING!

The whole process was amazing. The owner was well prepared with the whole condo. Amazing location as well. Having the pool right next to the condo was amazing and having the beach super was really good. Also very clean and organized.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit is right next to the pool and just a 2 minute walk across the street to the beach. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils and appliances you would need, even an air fryer which was nice. The place was clean and nicely decorated. It’s also located close to some great restaurants. Kenny D’s is a must if you stay here. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

We were very pleased with our accommodations. Very clean. Very spacious. Plenty of room for all of my family. Pool is just outside of unit. Easy walk to beach. Neighbors were very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend. Unfortunately, I got distracted from unloading refrigerator and left behind a dozen boiled eggs and tea. I need to apologize to owners. We tried to make place as clean as we found it. We had a great time.

I’d stay here again

The property was great. The beach was close by as well as other activities. The beach service was amazing…he even dug us holes for our own canopy. The pool was amazing. My only complaint would be the lack of supplies on hand at the property. You only get two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels,and two garbage bags. If you need more (which we did) you have to buy your own. No spices on hand for cooking. We had to buy all of those as well. You are expected to leave the property pretty much as you found it. Dirty dishes have to be in the dishwasher, trash removed, and linens in the washer. Not a big deal but then why do we have a cleaning fee? I’d definitely stay here again. They were easy to get in touch with when we needed to.

Great Condo!

The location is amazing! This unit in my opinion is the most conveniently located of all the units on the property!! Steps from the pool and pickleball courts! This condo has everything you will need during your stay and is very spacious! They provided plenty of towels, pillows and blankets which is rare for condo rentals. Such a short walk to the beach and we really enjoyed the complementary chairs. I should have read more closely that the master suite has 2 rather firm full size beds which wasn’t ideal but we made it work. The King size bed located in bedroom #2 was very comfortable! The bunk bed in bedroom #3 is perfect for children or teens. We had to leave early so we spoke to someone with guest services to let them know we were checking out a day ahead of time. There were very kind and helpful. I received a follow up email confirming our check-out. Once we were back home we received a rather rude phone call because the person thought we had not checked out of the unit. Upon further investigation she realized we had already departed from the property but didn’t apologize for her tone in the beginning of the call. She said there was a lack of communication on their end. So I would definitely say make sure you document if you have to check out early.

Perfect!

We loved this place. It was large and affordable. It was an easy Wally o the beach. Had a pool, tennis and pickleball courts. This will be our go-to place in the Panhandle.

Only reason for the 4 star on the check in process was because the code was wrong and we got confused other than that this was a great place to stay plenty of room for the whole family and if traveling with multiple groups you can even separate the living space with doors we are already planning our next trip to stay here.

Fun Family Getaway with furry fiends

We loved our stay here!! It was so much room for the four of us and our two dogs. It could easily sleep more. Everything was very comfortable and well laid out. The proximity to the beach, restaurants, and bars were great. We`ll be back again next year. Only complaint was that you had to keep the thermostat at 72 or above.

Great stay

We had a wonderful time. Everything was as described and a short walk to the beach. Being a private beach was amazing not having a big crowd. The only complaint would be the master bedroom having 2 queens instead of the king bed. , and the outside lights didn't work at night.

Great location

The beach is across the street which is really nice for large groups as some could stay at the beach and some could back to the apartment. We went in September which was the perfect time because it wasn’t too busy for parking at the apartment. Overall very clean and accurate listing.

Great stay!

Girls trip= 5 ladies and 1 pug. Walking distance to the beach and sparkling pool next to the unit. Clean and very comfortable accommodations. Plenty of room and the split floor plan was nice. Beach service was an added bonus!

Great beach house to stay at for vacation! Easy access to private beach, pickleball/ tennis courts and pool. Many restaurants also in walking distance! Clean, safe and spacious place to book if you’re looking for a rental on Destin coast!

Perfect spot

Location of this property is perfect! Private entrance to the beach so it wasn’t to crowded. Condo was clean and perfect for the 6 of us. You could easily fit 8-10 comfortably.
