Place was excellent except for the couch....it was only slightly better than sitting on the floor. Needs to be replaced. Other than that, it was a clean and very nice place.

Enjoyed the place and location very much.

The only downside was we had a late checkout due to the dryer not drying very good. Other than that we absolutely loved the place and the location was very convenient with quick access to the beach walking distance. The pool was clean and felt amazing and we appreciated the outdoor picnic tables with grills located by the pool to cook while the kids swam. Overall rating!

lovely property, just didn’t have a lot of pots and pans. Traveling with my family we love to cook breakfast and lunch, which was hard due to not having the proper pans needed So we had to go and buy them . We had issues with with the wifi also, when trying to connect games and phones it told us 10 ppl were already connected, which was none of us .

Good place

Great play to stay, easy walking distance to beaches. My only complaint is there was only enough dishwashing and laundry detergent for 1 load. 2 rolls of toilet paper provided and 1 single garbage bag. Bring your own things and otherwise wonderful place.

Enjoyed my stay

I enjoyed my 4 nights at this location! Top floor balcony has a nice view of the main road and some areas of the Gulf. Close to many things in Destin which is nice. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of silverware and plates, although you will need coffee filters if you plan to use the machine. The couch should be updated. The TV cable did not work but it was not an issue for me. This location only has public beach access so they don't supply any beach equipment. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back!

Loved every minute!

This condo was perfect for our little group. The beach access was visible from our balcony, and we never had to go more than fifteen minutes away for anything we needed whether it was groceries, entertainment, or dinner. Fudpuckers and Pompano Joes were both close and excellent places to eat. The condo itself had everything we needed, and smelled clean and fresh when we walked in. Overall, we had a blast and would definitely recommend this condo.

Great location!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Everything we needed was within 5 minutes of us and the beach was right across the street. More than enough space for our little ones and teen and the balcony made for peaceful evenings for the adults.

Perfect location

Pool was warm. Literally right across from beach access. Sea view. Great space. Comfortable beds. However was given wrong pool code; and the wifi password typed out in the room had a line thru an s making it appear to be a money sign rather than just reprinting the correct password to eliminate confusion. Vacasa did call to check on me tho and to see if I needed anything after checkin. I do believe the heating element in the oven is going out tho; it would not hold temp. Would still definitely stay here again! Cute condo!

Hard to ruin

Let's be fair- it is hard to ruin a beach vacation. We arrived to find the unit in fair condition- missing pillow cases on a bed, blood-stained sheets on another, floors didn't seem clean. Beaches were closed on arrival so we decided to hit the pool- code to gated pool entry did not work. Earlier the wifi code did not work either, but correct code was easily located. The pool code though- apparently Fort Knox is easier- after 30 minutes of trying I was finally given the right code. We went out to eat that night but made breakfast at the condo the next day. Loading the dishwasher, I noticed it was broken. In the middle of the day we had 3 people come to address issues. After all that, things were fine. The location is close to the beach. There is some bizarre thing where every other day they run outrageously loud blowers around the complex for hours- it is awful, and as we left around 9 am today, the management was knocking on doors to let in pest control. We were trying to pack and get out so I made them wait. I laughed when I heard the lady next door complain about the blowers and being awakened on vacation by pest control. It is hard to ruin a beach vacation in a beautiful area, but this experience is one I don't seek to repeat. Would it kill someone to leave some salt, pepper, and maybe a bit of coffee for day one so people don't have to come straight in and hit a grocery store. We have food allergies so we always book places with kitchens. just needlessly frustrating.

Great location, unit could use some updates and maintenance

Check in was easy. Wifi info emailed was incorrect. Luckily i found it posted on the unit. We didn't receive a pool gate code but got it from a neighbor. Bed was hard but good size. Sheets were clean, and they had zippered allergen mattress covers underneath, which is a plus, but they had hairs and stains (like recent blood) on them that was visible when i removed sheets. I couldnt get the TVs to work. Tub stopper and bathroom door knob didnt work well. Mold on/around ceiling vents, air filter on AC unit very dirty. Shower was clean. AC worked very well. Fridge/freezer worked, but door opened the wrong way, so you couldnt access from the kitchen. Had to stand against the wall and was inconvenient. I didnt see a single bug during our stay, so theyve gotten the pest situation mentioned in other reviews under control. It was pretty bareand sparsely decorated butnworked for our needs. I do wish they'd had some plastic dishes, as we had children and didnt want to break anything. Lots of this stuff would be a quick fix to update and clean. The location is fantastic. We have stayed in GCW many times but in a different and much nicer unit. This one was available, and we would stay again. It met our needs overall. The nightly cost was good, but the fees were high, which made it much more than what was listed as.

I'm not one to complain, when we arrived i had gotten a call that they were going to have the condo sprayed for roaches at 8 am next day. So that made me worry we had to be out of the condo for 10 mins. So I called to see if there were actual roaches because I'm not staying g at a place that has roaches they said it was just a routine spray. So we woke up and they never showed up. The condo did smell like it had been sprayed before we got there. Which was a horrible smell. Floors and walls were dirty. The toilet kept getting stopped up. The gate code for pool they gave us 3 times never worked. Also neighbor below us keep smoking Marijuana about 3 times a day could hardly sit on the balcony.

Great get away

Great get away right across the street from the beach. But, there are no beach chairs - so bring your own. The pans were well past their prime. There are no extra blankets and the pillow cases on the pillows in the closet appeared dirty.
