This home is located in a very family friendly neighborhood in Altoona! Very close interstate 80 access for allowing quick and efficient travel. The home was recently remodeled and has a fresh and airy feel!

The home is a split level with bedrooms both up and down.

Upstairs area:
- Fully equipped kitchen ready to cook a feast!
- Spacious living room with smart TV and comfy sectional sofa (can sleep 1-2)
- Large dining table that can seat 6-7 people
- Master bedroom with King bed and smart TV
- Secondary bedroom with Queen bed and smart TV
- Primary bathroom with tub/shower stocked with toiletries

Downstairs:
- 3rd bedroom with queen bedroom and smart TV
- 4th bedroom with queen bedroom and smart TV
- Secondary bathroom with LARGE shower
- laundry room with free washer and dryer use

Outdoors:
- Off the kitchen is the deck with BBQ grill
- LARGE backyard - great for kids and dogs - FULLY FENCED IN!
- Fire pit relaxation area with hammock, zero gravity chairs and propane fire pit

The home is equipped with high speed wifi and a brand new AC/heating system!

**Note - the garage is not accessible to guests but the driveway is plenty long for parking!

Guests will access the property using a smart lock for quick and easy access. No worrying about keys! The personalized code will be sent the morning of your check in!

The home is equipped with a ring doorbell at the front door (facing the front yard) that monitors audio and video 24/7. This is solely for guests safety and we greatly respect the privacy of anyone who stays with us!

**Pet Policy**
Dogs are welcome, but they must be included in your reservation at the time of booking. To add a pet, put the number of pets in the search option next to where you select the number of guests. The pet fee will be automatically applied to your reservation when included this way. Please note, if an unregistered or unpaid pet is brought to the property, the fee will be doubled.

The house is nice. Well decorated and very welcoming. The things that held back from a five star is: One room in basement has no heat. And there were not enough extra blankets.

We enjoyed our stay at the residence. Very clean. Split level with 2 bedrooms on main floor and 2 bedrooms in basement. Dining room opens up to living room. Living room has nice sectional for our family to relax.Dan was great in follow up and making sure we were happy with our stay.Great Job!

Enjoyed our stay!

Affordable and spacious stay for our family of 4 and my 1 year old grandson. Updated interior, beds were all comfortable, clean, close to walking trail for my daily morning walk, friendly neighbors. Having two bathrooms is always a plus! Outdoor space was nice, just could have used some mowing prior to arrival. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house in a convenient location

Overall a great place to stay! Comfy 7 night stay! Close to lots of restaurants and attractions. Washer/dryer on site. LARGE fenced back yard for pups (keep in mind, both neighbors both have dogs as well)

This was a wonderful location and wonderful for our event. It is definitely pet friendly with an exceptionally large backyard. We experienced minor inconveniences in that an outlet in the bathroom and a light fixture did not work in a bedroom. nice guy, but property not ready for prime time

The overall condition of the property was less than adequate. There is broken lighting, the bed in the front room was basically on the ground, one can smell musty or moldy smells in parts of the house, the people who slept in the basement bedrooms all got coughs and allergy symptoms, the door locks didn't work, there wasn't enough towels and toilet paper for everyone, the fully stocked kitchen is not nearly fully stocked for cooking, not every tv had a remote, and one of the ones we did have quit working. The house just needs updating, one can tell that the work that was done was not done professionally. The home owner did tell us the people before us really tore some things up, and he did come over and remediated the towels, tp, and door lock issues immediately, but the place just needs more work. I get the idea that the owners haven't been in a job needing customer service or a hotelier business. However, the neighbor seems really nice.

Graduation Trip

This is a terrific property, and we really appreciated the service-orientation of the owner. First rate! We were 9 people - multiple families in the area for a college graduation. Loved the size of the house it’s amenities: clean and comfortable rooms, good kitchen, bbq, backyard patio and lounge area, etc. Unit is very close to some excellent dining options, but we also were able to cook effectively for our group of 9 people in the kitchen. We would highly recommend both the property and the owner!

Everyone enjoyed the house, it was clean and felt safe. The only issues were clothes still in the dryer and the wrong coffee filters. I purchased the correct filters and they should last a long time. I would rent this house again.

Great location

Stayed at this location for an Iowa golf trip in early April with 3 friends. Location was clean and well kept. Beds were all comfortable and great that everyone had their own space. Used the outdoor grill one night for steak, did not use the outdoor sitting space but looked very inviting. Was centrally located to easily get to all of the golf courses we played in the Des Moines area. The owner was very responsive before, during and after the stay.

The house has so many newly done upgrades, was well appointed and has a huge fenced yard. Dan is a great owner who is responsive and accommodating. Will look here first when staying in the area again.

Great place to stay that way literally close to everything that we needed to get to. It was very clean, and well supplied. The beds were comfortable and the rest of the amenities were in good condition and comfortable. Absolutely will stay here again!!

A litle disappointment

All was fantastic until we discovered the dishes were dirty in the dishwasher and the laundry ( mostly kitchen/bath linens) were in a pile on the basement floor. Otherwise, this experience would have yielded 5 stars.

Easy Check-In & Great Communication Throughout

The property owner, Dan, displayed great communication prior to, during and check out. The property was as listed/pictured and was more than enough space for our small group. There were plenty of options in regards to grocery stores and restaurants within a 1.5 mile radius. We were in town for an event at Hyvee Hall but ended up at the local park, Adventureland, as well because of the convenience. There was also a casino near but we didn’t have anyone in the party who gambled. All in all a great stay - thank you to our host!
