This house was huge! Our family met at this location to stay for the weekend, and we had plenty of room. It is in a prime spot, close to shopping, groceries, etc. We even took a walk in the neighborhood for some exercise, and it was so peaceful!

Great place to stay. Owner and Jessica (Evolve) were prompt and courteous in resolving a minor issue when we arrived. There is parking for 4 vehicles off street and location was perfect for our needs in Altoona and Des Moines. It was well kept and had plenty linens and towels for our group of 13. The kitchen was adequately supplied to take care of our culinary needs too.

Beautiful Place

We had several people coming in from out of state to celebrate a graduation and the house was really nice. We had plenty of places to sleep and gather and cook. There is a short walking trail nearby so it was easy to get outside without having to drive somewhere. The grocery stores were close and we were close to the events we wanted to attend.

We had a fantastic stay at this home during our family trip to Adventureland! We had a group of 12 people (9 adults and 3 kids), and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The bedrooms were spacious, there were plenty of bathrooms, and multiple living areas made it easy for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. The deck and large backyard were perfect for the kids to run around and play, and the house stayed nice and cool the entire time thanks to the excellent air conditioning.Communication with the host was outstanding from start to finish. I needed a code to access the YouTube TV that was provided, and they responded almost immediately. The only minor issue we encountered was that the dishwasher hadn't been unloaded and the dishes inside were still dirty when we arrived. It wasn't a big inconvenience, we simply ran the dishwasher and unloaded it, and everything else in the house was spotless. What really set this host apart was what happened after our stay. My nephew accidentally left his iPad behind, and we didn't realize it until we were several hours back home. The host went above and beyond by carefully packaging it up and mailing it back to us. We truly appreciated that extra level of kindness and honesty. I would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone traveling with a large group, especially if you're visiting Adventureland or spending time in the Altoona or Des Moines area. We'd gladly stay here again!

Great place for a large family

We recently stayed here for 3 nights with 7 kids. We found it large enough to really spread out and everyone have their own space. The kids especially enjoyed having a king or queen sized bed (almost) entirely to themselves. We didn't even use the "extra" bedding areas-office or living/ front room pull out sofa.

Nice property, Jessica the contact person was very responsive when we called about extra towels. I would think the host would see the number of guest and plan accordingly with towels and supplies, as we could have used a few more garbage bags, toilet paper and dishwasher soap. We did have a couple sleep in the basement and it was pretty cold as the upstairs was very warm. Maybe a space heater although I know those are not the safest things to have around.
