This house was huge! Our family met at this location to stay for the weekend, and we had plenty of room. It is in a prime spot, close to shopping, groceries, etc. We even took a walk in the neighborhood for some exercise, and it was so peaceful!

Great Family Get Away

The property was in a great location, very clean and we were able to have enough space for the entire group. We’ve stayed at several VRBO’s over the years, this property exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our stay very much and would rent again for sure.

Great place to stay. Owner and Jessica (Evolve) were prompt and courteous in resolving a minor issue when we arrived. There is parking for 4 vehicles off street and location was perfect for our needs in Altoona and Des Moines. It was well kept and had plenty linens and towels for our group of 13. The kitchen was adequately supplied to take care of our culinary needs too.

Great stay

Was a great spot from the wedding venue we attended. Everything was only a few minutes drive away. House was well cleaned and ready upon arrival and had great communications with our guest contact. Couldn't be more happy about the stay.

Beautiful Place

We had several people coming in from out of state to celebrate a graduation and the house was really nice. We had plenty of places to sleep and gather and cook. There is a short walking trail nearby so it was easy to get outside without having to drive somewhere. The grocery stores were close and we were close to the events we wanted to attend.

Great place for a large family

We recently stayed here for 3 nights with 7 kids. We found it large enough to really spread out and everyone have their own space. The kids especially enjoyed having a king or queen sized bed (almost) entirely to themselves. We didn't even use the "extra" bedding areas-office or living/ front room pull out sofa.

Nice property, Jessica the contact person was very responsive when we called about extra towels. I would think the host would see the number of guest and plan accordingly with towels and supplies, as we could have used a few more garbage bags, toilet paper and dishwasher soap. We did have a couple sleep in the basement and it was pretty cold as the upstairs was very warm. Maybe a space heater although I know those are not the safest things to have around.

Not ready at check in!!

We arrived at 4 pm (check in 3pm) and house was a mess from the previous renters! cleaning crew was short handed and did what they could do to get it ready.. The previous renters left a full pantry of new and used food items along with a full refridgerater! Cleaning person had sent me a text msg that they were running behind but i could not check my phone while i was driving. She did let us in to unload our suitcases and we all went to Dinner when we got back it was much better. Oh and don't think you can park 2 cars in garage unless they are smart cars lots of junk all around garage!!

Digital entry lock did not work all the time luckily cleaning lady was there she had trouble with lock as well used the garage door keyboard to enter house even that would not always respond Wanted granddaughter ( the graduate) to come for breakfast e mailed VRBO told could not have a party otherwise a monetary fine Called assist line twice emailed once no response back Ice maker would lock up sent video no response Heat off in house basement was 50 degrees one thermostat in order to warm basement living area raised heat to 72 upstairs became very hot we were told several windows upstairs could not be open others could No extra linens could be found Basement bed was not on box spring very low to the floor Kitchen table seats 6 living area could not seat all family without moving chairs frequently No cutting board One trash bag No backyard privacy small deck adequate for 4-5 people

The location of this property was great for anyone wanting to go to Prairie Meadows, the outlet mall, Adventure Land and lots of eating choice. Very clean and the communication with the host was excellent. We loved the house!
