The Minke (unit #7) at Whale Inn is a cozy studio with all the amenities of home. Recently updated, this unit can sleep 2 and has a kitchenette.

This unit is equipped with all you will need for your stay:

An Efficiency Kitchenette with Microwave and Mini Refrigerator. (No Cooktop/Oven or full size refrigerator)
Coffee Maker and Toaster
Small Table with Chairs to play games or watch TV.

Queen Size bed

Within Walking Distance from Depoe Bay shops and restaurants.

As we said, The unit will accommodate two adults.

This is a Ground floor unit, but it is not handicap accessible or equipped.

All of our units have private WiFi Internet connection. We know how attached many of us have become to our various devices and how frustrating some public Internet connections can be.

Have a larger party or need space for more than two? We can accommodate this as well by offering you additional units in the same building.

The property is a dog friendly property for an additional fee.

Great stay!

Lovely clean, nicely furnished room walking distance from shops in depoe bay, and 20 minutes either direction to Lincoln city or Newport. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place for a night on the Oregon coast!

Sweet little unit that was clean, well-stocked and easy to get in and out of from 101. There was also a great coffee shop just up the road and most of the amenities one would need while cruising the coast!

Great place to stay in a great area

My only problem with this property was that there was no closet. There are hooks by the front door so presumably a few hangers there would have helped. I didn't realize there was no closet when I rented this room.

The owner is great!

The property was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and in a perfect location. My only complaint was the bed and the heater. The bed was very uncomfortable and the heater never heated up. I decided to leave 1 day early. HOWEVER, I decided not to bug the owner with the bed and heater and I should have contacted her. When I decided to leave a day early I let her know and she said she would have moved me and/or come and replaced the heater. She made a note about the bed and said she was already replacing them room by room. She refunded me for my last night and offered to move me to a different property. It’s on me that I didn’t contact her sooner. She would have helped accommodate me to be more comfortable. I will be returning next time I am in that area.

This place was just perfect for a weekend trip to the coast. Between Newport and Lincoln city for great access to restaurants and activities, it’s also In the middle of town can within walking distance to some incredible sights of the roaring sea!

Super Cute!

We stayed here on a whim because we decided at the last minute to go to the coast. I wasn’t sure what to expect and really hoped the place matched the pics. It absolutely did, to a tee! Despite being along the highway, it was pretty quiet and for a pet friendly room, it was very clean which means everything to us because we want to feel as comfortable in a rental with out pups as we do in our home and this place nailed it on that! We’d definitely stay here again!

Cute Room!

Cute and cozy room with lots of amenities. Very walkable area with shops, restaurants and beautiful beach views right down the street. Check in was super quick and easy with keypad. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice and clean!

Super clean and nice aesthetic - pics were accurate/just as in listing. End unit furthest from road. Seems fresh, like a recent remodel. Stress Relief Bath&Body Works soap and lotion were nice after a long day. Gas station store next door was convenient to grab ice or snack. 4 stars because the mattress seemed to still be in plastic and was not super comfortable.
