  • Welcome to The Aspen Tree Suite! Nestled in the heart of Evergreen, this cozy and tranquil getaway is the perfect sanctuary for your vacation. Conveniently located near Evergreen Lake and Red Rocks amphitheater, our property offers amazing outdoor experiences. You will love the luxury touches throughout your living space. Immerse yourself in the mountains while also being a short walk to downtown eateries, bars & shops. This is the mountain retreat you’ve been searching for!

    You will have access to your suite (entrance on front of the house) and your dedicated parking spots on the right side of the driveway.

    It is very possible we may cross paths but we will respect your space and privacy. We are very friendly and if want to strike up conversation we’d love to chat. We will take your lead though. We do have a dog that we walk often. If you you are afraid of dogs or have an issue with animals please let us know. Lastly, we will be available/reachable for the entirety of your stay so if you need anything or want local recommendations please don’t hesitate to reach out.

    Evergreen is an outdoor haven with a small but picturesque lake surrounded by towering pines and miles of trails. Our mountain retreat is a 5 minute walk to downtown and a 10 minute walk to Evergreen Lake. We can provide great recommendations for food and drinks nearby along with some of the best hiking and biking trails in the area. Downtown Denver is a quick 40 minute drive down I-70. If you’re coming into town to see a Red Rocks show we are only 20 minutes away and the drive there is extremely scenic through Bear Creek Canyon! Some of the most popular ski resorts like Breckenridge, Vail, and the locals favorite Arapahoe Basin are only 60-90 minutes away.

    If you are wanting to visit Downtown Evergreen or Evergreen Lake we are a 5-10 minute walk away! There are also some nearby trails you can walk to but if you’re looking to explore the greater Evergreen area a car will be required.

    We do live upstairs and will do our very best to ensure you have a quiet and peaceful stay. Given our high elevation we do not have AC. Your space should remain cool and if you open the windows and get a cross breeze it will get even colder. During winter months (November-April) we can receive heavy snowfall so AWD/4-wheel drive is highly recommended. If you don’t have the proper vehicle please contact us and local weather websites for current road conditions.

Cannot recommend this mountain retreat highly enough. This place was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The location was primo, which enabled us to get out and about without difficulty. The neighborhood was quiet and very peaceful. We saw a few elk during our stay which was a lovely bonus. At the time of our visit, I was disabled by a knee injury so I was especially grateful for the fact that there were no steps to navigate at this retreat. The site was landscaped beautifully and the natural setting was absolutely perfect. Sleeping was easy in the quiet location and the bed was super comfortable to sleep in. Kitchen was perfect for our use because I am generally a really bad cook so we ate out a lot. However, it had the requisite fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven so we were able to accomplish everything we needed. We are already thinking of a return vacation in the coming year.

This property was wonderful! Better than we expected! The hosts were fantastic, responsive, and kind. The property was peaceful, clean, and provide a tranquil getaway. Highly recommend!

Overall, this was a great place to stay for two people at a very reasonable price in and around Evergreen. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described.I was a little concerned about there not being air conditioning, but the host assured us it wouldn’t be an issue, and they were absolutely right. Even with daytime temperatures reaching 95–100F, the unit never got warmer than 71F. At night, opening the windows cooled it down to a comfortable 68F.The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We did our grocery shopping on the first day, which allowed us to prepare several meals instead of eating out all the time. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure.One of our favorite features was the backyard. We enjoyed having our morning coffee there while listening to the peaceful waterfall—it was a perfect place to relax and unwind.If and when we return to Evergreen, we will definitely book this property again.The only suggestion I would make, and it’s a very minor one, would be to provide an umbrella for guests. We had a few rainy moments during our stay, and having one available would have been convenient. If that’s the only thing I can think of to improve, then you know it was a fantastic place to stay.
