WONDERFUL AMENITIES. With 4 bedrooms, this home is large enough to share with family or friends for several nights or weeks in the mountains!

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION. Gorgeous mountain views- close to Red Rocks, hiking, rafting, and downtown Denver. Ski resorts such as Breckenridge and Loveland are just 75 min drive away.

The Space:
Beautiful mountain views await you in this rustic yet modern home. Professionally designed with a local artist flair, you’ll love the unique custom-made live edge wood dining table and beautiful furniture and artwork around ‘The Mountain Dream.'

We are conveniently located just 15 minutes from charming Downtown Evergreen where shops, restaurants and breweries await. There's the beautiful Lake Evergreen with year-round sports and activities. Enjoy skating and ice fishing in the winter, canoeing and paddling in the summer. You are also an easy drive to Idaho Springs (20 min), Denver (30 min), Red Rocks Amphitheater and Trails (25 min,) Denver (30 min) and several ski resorts (45 min- 1 hour 15 min. The house is just 5 mi from 1-70, so very convenient to get to and to use as a jump off point for other adventuring.

As a mountain property, we recommend a 4 WHEEL DRIVE vehicle, during snowy months.

ACCOMODATIONS
MAIN LEVEL:
Bedroom #1, (Master) King Bed
This bedroom is spacious with a four poster King Bed and expansive mountain views, with an attached Master Bathroom featuring a beautiful tiled shower, double sink and heated floors.

Bedroom #2, Queen Bed
This bright and colorfully decorated bedroom has a Queen sized bed and shares access to the Master Bathroom.

This floor also features a well appointed full kitchen, living, and dining rooms. The floor plan is open and bright, airy with sweeping mountain views from the expansive windows.

Enjoy meals together or work on a puzzle on the custom-built oversized live edge wood table with seating for 8, plus 4 seats at the kitchen bar. The Living Room has a comfortable, large couch that could sleep 1 adult or 2 smaller children. There’s a cozy fireplace, board games and flat screen TV. The Main Level also opens to a large upper deck with expansive mountain views, and additional dining and seating areas. There is also another half bath on the main floor.

DOWNSTAIRS LEVEL:
Bedroom #3, King Bed
This room with funky, modern decor (bike themed) has a King Bed. Plug in and charge your devices easily in one of the bedside lamps!

Bedroom #4, King Bed
This room has a King size bed, funky mid mod century styling and a desk at a window with mountain views.

Pull-out Queen sized sofa
The downstairs level also features a large great room with a queen sized sleeper sofa that can sleep 2 adults.

There is also a full bath on this floor, and a great room with a ping pong table and flat screen TV. The views of the backyard on this level are also stunning and we often see chipmunks, deer and even foxes in the backyard.

There's a washer and dryer on the downstairs level for your convenience.

PET POLICY
Note that we are a pet-friendly home. We have a fenced-in pet area to the side of the house just perfect for your fur babies to enjoy.

Please note-
We allow a Maximum of 3 pets. Must be under 50 lbs, over 1 year old, house broken, quiet, up to date on vaccinations, and crated any time the owners are absent.

There is a $125 pet fee to cover additional cleaning costs.

Should any damage to furniture, carpet or home be caused by a pet, the guest will be expected to remedy/charged accordingly.

NON-SMOKING HOME

This is a non-smoking home, including 420. Smoking is not permitted inside OR outside of the home (due to the current wildfire risk in Colorado.) The homeowner is severely allergic to smoke. If this is not a good fit for you, please do NOT book this home. Cleaning costs of $1000 for ozonation/smoke remediation will be charged to any guest who doesn’t follow this policy.

MOUNTAIN WILDLIFE
As a mountain property, we have beautiful wildlife. Note that in the house it’s not uncommon to encounter critters such as crickets, spiders and mice. Please store food in plastic containers.

Please be mindful of neighbors - noise travels in the mountains. Please no outdoor music/loud noises after 10pm.

Guest Access:
We recommend driving in Evergreen. As a mountain property located on Floyd Hill, a 4 WHEEL DRIVE vehicle is recommended.

The house is only minutes from 1-70 and easy to navigate to and very conveniently located in a beautiful, private neighborhood in the mountains. A short drive from the center of Evergreen, this area offers all the adventure and beauty of the Rocky Mountains while still being only 30 minutes from Denver & less than 1 hr from Boulder. You're also close to the Red Rocks Amphitheater & Park and only 1 hour from popular ski resorts.

The area offers bistros, breweries, coffee shops, boutiques, and more - plus you're only minutes from popular hiking, biking, skiing, and other mountain activity areas!

Getting Around:
You'll want a car to get around Evergreen. Note that as a mountain property, a 4 WHEEL DRIVE vehicle is recommended.

Other Things to Note:
Pets are welcome! We charge $125 fee for the stay for additional cleaning. The pet fee will be collected after you reserve, prior to checkin. Please notify us when you reserve that you have pets.

CHECK IN:
Check in is at 3PM. When checkin is ready, you will be texted the door lock code.

As we accommodate strict cleaning standards and new guests checking in, we require on time checkout. Any Late checkout will incur a $25 fee per 20 minutes.

This property was the perfect venue for our family’s trip. The host did a great job of upfront communication and cadence prior to our stay, and was responsive during our trip. The bedrooms were spacious, the view was unparalleled, and the outdoor space was a family-favorite. A bonus was the thoughtful suggestions for places to eat and things to do in the area. I would highly recommend this place!

Everything was wonderful! We loved the 4 bedrooms, large beds, 3 bath, 2 separate living rooms with enough seating for the whole group. AC was a must and it worked great. The views were beautiful. Hot tub worked great! Our party was myself, my 3 grown children, 2 of their spouses, and two granddaughters - 18 mo. And 3 years old. All of the adults remarked that it was a great place to stay and they would come back! 5 stars!

Spectacular

This property was everything we wanted and more. The sunrise was spectacular. Plenty of room for everybody and just the right touches to make you feel at home. We went during the polor vortex and had no issues staying warm or getting to and from the house.( We do have AWD) The hot tub was an added bonus that we definitely took advantage of. We would like to stay here again in the spring or this summer. We will definitely be back

Beware of extra fees

We reserved the home as a home base for our daughter’s wedding, a joyous occasion. While the view is great the house is showing its age. The carpets and furniture are worn, the driveway steep and crumbling. Nonetheless we made the best of it. Upon check-out the homeowner accused us of having pets in the home and creating stains on the carpet, both of which we did not do. We have stayed in 40-50 VRBOs over the years and operate three of our own. Not once have I been nickeled and dimed like this. We will not be going back.

We had family from California come up for my son’s graduation from Colorado School of Mines in Golden. The house was perfect for our party of 9. The 4 bedrooms worked great. I was worried about only having 2 1/2 bathrooms, but it worked out fine for us. The house was warm, and quiet.

Floyd Hill

Hosts were great about communication. The house was well laid out for our needs. However- 1. The hosts seemed to have a lack of understanding of how a power outage would impact us. They were great to notify us of a power outage and they did keep us up to date as possible to let us know when it was scheduled to be resolved. They told us that we still had heat from the gas fireplace but that was not the case -an electric switch doesn't work without power. During this communication there was no mention of the fact that we would also be without water. The house has a well with an electric pump, so no toilets, no washing dishes, no showers, etc. When I brought this up they did tell us that there might be some bottled water under the sink. I completely understand that the power outage was out of their control, but they could definitely set things up to keep guests more comfortable in this situation. Keep a propane heater on site for such emergencies, have a generator that their local handyman could hook up to the well pump, etc. We helped put their outdoor furniture down to keep it protected from the wind storm. We helped secure the hot tub cover that was damaged during the storm. We shoveled snow and melted it so we could flush a toilet. We were happy to help and we did not complain. I thought a little discount for our inconvenience would be appropriate - but they disagreed. 2. When we did have power the furnace was so loud that it woke us up multiple times a night.

40" of snow ... no problem ... amazing house and location!

We landed on a Wednesday and it started snowing. We woke up Friday morning, and it was still snowing! Thankfully, the entire family made it in, and we were settled in this amazing house! Our host made sure we were ok at each step of the way. You could not have asked for a better house to be hunkered down in during a once-in-a-decade snow storm in Evergreen ... close to 40" of snow! I would highly recommend this house and its host ... both A+. Thank you for making our stay so amazing!

Awesome Spot!

Some friends and I stayed here for a recent ski trip and were not disappointed! The house was very nice and spacious, fantastic view, and even had Elk visitors right outside the back deck! I had a couple questions for the host after check-in to which they were quickly responsive and helpful. Conveniently located between Denver, ski slopes, and casino we had a blast and will certainly be back!

Fantastic location and house layout

We spent 9 days here on this hillside. ~10 minutes east to groceries, walmart, home depot ~15 mins west to Idaho Springs Great views from most windows (really nice house layout). One of the finest equipped kitchens we've experienced. Great hot tub. Hoops shooting that is protected by house and walls (so ball doesn't roll down a mountain if missed shot, not that we miss). Largest and nicest washer/dryer we've experienced. Owner is super. Love love love the heated floor in the master bathroom! :) In short, this is a house we would buy, never mind just rent again.

Mountainous home

Heather was super communicative and pleasant to deal with. Easy entry. Quite unstable bathroom fixtures; wiggly faucets and shower head upstairs. Just need tightening up I believe. Alot of windows so a beautiful view is available. Nice hottub and deck with plenty of chairs. Saw a bear, deer and alot of hummingbirds. Nice, comfortable upstairs bed. The television was easy to use. The coffee maker needs replacing. The only other complaint we had was the stained carpet in the basement. They accept pets, which we did not bring, but obviously someone's pets had pottied downstairs in quite a few places. Stains are noticeably present in the light colored carpet.
