Cozy basement apartment close to Denver downtown.

Small and cozy basement apartment. Three bedroom/one full bathroom, fully remodeled kitchen, a patio for the guests to use. 420 friendly but outside only please.
We live on the main level and rent out the basement apartment. Separate entrance and street parking.
Light rail is less than 10 minutes walking distance that will take you to downtown Denver.
Green solutions and a liquor store is five minutes walking distance.
Two main grocery stores (King soopers and Walmart) are a mile and a half away.
There are some brochures in the living room. Please ask me for more local tips.

Stayed one night and left the following morning. Was not aware when booking that there were unsafe spots in the flooring where the floor is caving in. The pillows were dirty and not up to standards for a vacation rental. The TVs in the home do not work. Upon arriving, I had no combination for the lockbox. I was then told by the neighbor staying upstairs that the keys were just hanging in the door and had been for two days. That didn't really make us feel very safe. I do appreciate being credited back my cleaning fee. However, I would not stay here again as I did not complete my stay to begin with.

Great Basement Apartment

My teens and I needed a place to stay for a quick trip to Denver. The host was helpful and quick to respond to my questions. They also accomodated changes of guest totals and days of our stay with understanding.

Great place to stay

This is a great, no-frills place to stay. Kitchen is equipped and bedrooms are comfortable. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. As others have mentioned, there is some noise from people walking around upstairs, but it wasn't unreasonable.

Decent Stay

Stayed for a long weekend with my mom and brother. The listing was fairly accurate. It was a basement apartment with a family living upstairs and you could hear noise from them frequently. Stairs leading down to the apartment were noisy and place is a little dated, but it worked for what we were doing in and around Denver. Perfect place to stay if you plan on being out all day but not if you're looking for a cozy stay at home all day type stay.

Best Vacation Ever!

We drove from Iowa for our daughter's 21st Birthday. We have been planning this trip for 3 years, and it was everything we hoped it would be. We were able to check in early, and there was everything we needed to feel at home. 420 friendly outside, and they have Chickens ❤❤ We will be booking again!😘

Uncomfortable beds

Full kitchen and well stocked. Owner responded promptly. Three out of the four beds were extremely uncomfortable. Advertised that it slept 7, which it could, but does not comfortably accommodate 7. For example, kitchen table only had 2 chairs and in the living area the couch was for three people and that was the only seating. Also, since it is a basement there was quite a bit of noise from upstairs. The basement apartment could use some repairs.

Cozy perfect for a short stay

The property was great for the price! The apartment is cozy and was perfect for the price range. You do hear the owners up stairs but that didn’t bother us a bit. It’s fairly close to downtown Denver, which is why we mainly booked it! It was really a great place for a short stay.

Decent Spot

The price per night was fair for the area and the amenities. We would have liked it to be a little cleaner but it wasn’t bad. It had a fully functioning kitchen with spices, tupperware, pots, pans, etc and we loved that since we don’t like to eat out every meal. It was within walking distance to a liquor store, dispensary, and a few shops. Overall my spouse, friend and I were satisfied with our stay.

Convenient location

This location has good access to the Denver and Golden area. It was easy for us to get to downtown, head to Pikes Peak/Garden of the Gods, or to Colorado School of Mines for our daughter's graduation. If you are looking for a luxury get away this is not the place for you. We were often out all day and back in the evening for bed time. If you will be staying indoors more than being out and about you may not want to stay here. It was clean and tidy, but needs some renovation and updating to truly make the property shine. Communication was easy and quick. Overall we had little to no issues with our stay here. Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants around as well.
