Enjoy hiking, fishing, skiing, and more, with Golden Gate Canyon State Park nearby. Relax on the spacious deck, surrounded by wildlife and stunning nature. With Starlink internet, it's perfect for remote work. A convenience store is 5 minutes away. A 4x4 is recommended in winter, with private parking for 3-4 cars. You'll have the cabin to yourself, with help just a call away!

Cozy Coal Creek Cabin

This was our second stay at this super cute and cozy property. It is the perfect size for myself, my husband and our pup. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for making a quick dinner or brunch. I love that there are plenty of extra blankets for snuggling up on the couch next to the little fireplace. The extra large deck is perfect for enjoying a nice evening outside listening to the birds. There are also lots of plush towels and the bed and pillows are comfy. We love the flowers on the property and enjoyed watching some wild turkeys and hummingbirds. The locations is great, with quick access to trails as well as restaurants and stores in Boulder or Golden. We really love this cabin and can't wait to come back again next year. Thank you!

The Perfect Peaceful Escape

This cabin was so clean and comfortable. I was seeking a peaceful, relaxing escape and the cabin did not disappoint. The amenities were great and I loved the thoughtful note, snacks and coffee that was provided. Its the little thoughtful things that mean the most. Ian provided all the details needed for my stay and he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The location is very close to great hiking trails and other sites. I will be rebooking for next year!

Quiet Cabin in the Mountains

Perfect little cabin for a quiet getaway. Turkeys and deer in the yard each morning. Plenty of items in the kitchen for cooking in should you choose. Literally 3 miles away from great hiking. Strong wifi. Super comfy bed. A great little coffee shop very nearby. Ian communicated well, and checking in and out was a breeze. I had my work cell and personal cell with me, so just an fyi, Verizon does have service here (only two bars but enough to make phone calls), Google Fi does not. I was in town attending a training in Boulder, and it took me ~35 minutes to get to approximately where 119 and 157 merge, if this is helpful to anyone. It was also an unusually rainy season, and I especially liked listening to the rain hitting the skylight. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful

We had a nice time at the cozy cabin. The place was clean and warm. Bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the fire or grill but nice to have the option. Easy to communicate with the owner, as he kept in touch. Would definitely stay again for a weekend trip.

Ian was very helpful from the time of booking through checkout. The cabin was clean and ready to enjoy. Loved having a washer and dryer. Beautiful scenery and a great base camp. Highly recommend booking with Ian!

Awesome cabin!!

What a great cabin, small and cozy, warm when it was 9 outside, we went skiing in Eldora, gambling in black Hawk and a bunch of other activities in the area. Afterwards we looked forward going to the cabin to relax and get ready for the next day. Very comfortable and clean

The perfect getaway

The cabin is perfectly located near Golden but not close enough to be bothered by anyone. Activities are within a 25 minute drive. The cabin offered everything you need to make a trip perfect. We will definitely be back during the summer to experience Golden then.

Great Place, Great Communication

Spent two nights at Ian‘s place with my friend and our dogs. We were plenty warm enough even with the subzero temperatures outside. The house was clean and very easy to find. Couple of hiccups with the Wi-Fi and the drain in the kitchen sink, but they had nothing to do with the owner of the property. Ian is a super responsive and friendly host.

Just what we needed

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for our anniversary trip and it was more than perfect! Such a cozy cabin with everything we needed. The cabin location was honestly the perfect distance away to get the mountain feel and to spend a day in near by cities to explore. Ian let us know he was available whenever we needed anything or had a question. Highly recommend this place for your next trip

Perfect cozy romantic getaway!

This cabin is adorable, perfect getaway for a cozy romantic weekend!! It is nicely decorated and very well taken care of. The only thing I would change is to have a bigger bed, but I understand it wouldn’t fit. Everything is well thought out and Ian is amazing at communicating with you along the way. I love this cabin!!!

Great place to get away!

This cozy little cabin is perfect for a quick getaway. Easy to get to and had everything we needed for a great weekend. Really love the deck and easy to use fire pit. Took us a bit to figure out the keypad and finally used the keys(have to remove the round metal plate under the keypad to find they keyhole :) Other than that, we had everything we needed for a nice stay. We would definitely come back!

LOVED IT

Ian and his team thought of everything. Upon arrival we were greeted with a nice card and note, everything was thought of and provided. It was amazing. We even got married on the property in a self-solemnization ceremony (legal in Colorado). We could not have wished for a better place.

Cute Little Cabin

This cabin is so cute! Everything was very clean and well stocked. The property is absolutely gorgeous with big pines, aspens, and wildflowers! All the details of the stay were very clearly communicated by the host. We had an amazing time. I would love to stay here again!

Great Colorado Getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The proximity to numerous fun mountain towns was unmatched. The property itself was even better than the pictures show! Beautiful views and easy to get around. On a busier street than what we thought it would be, but not a big deal for us. The only reason for the deduction in points is the property advertises it has AC and it does not - Probably not usually a big deal but it was 100 degrees the weekend we visited so it made it somewhat uncomfortable. Additionally, the electricity went out for awhile, leaving us without service - Neighbors said this happens from time to time (not the VRBO’s fault!) Host was great about communication! None of the cons listed were deal breakers for us, we still enjoyed our stay.

Ian's Cabin

Every aspect of this cabin: the cabin itself, the location, and the host couldn't have been more perfect! You are 10 minutes into the mountains and 20 minutes away from Golden, Boulder, and El Dorado Springs. The host was very friendly and responsive to all of our messages and chats, the House made our trip that much more enjoyable :) We cant wait to go back again! :)
