In Dennis (known as the heart of Cape Cod), the Mermaid Cottage is a spacious, bright and like new post & beam cape with 3 bedrooms & 2 baths, across from Flax Pond and nature trails, & abuts conservation for privacy. It is well-equipped to make your stay as enjoyable and carefree as possible. Property consists of all linens, Beach and baby equipment, Air-conditioning , Internet. Perfect Mermaid Cottage

Mermaid Cottage a great stay at the Cape

This is the fifth time we stayed here. The house is well equipped, clean and a quiet location. Communication with the owner is great. We weren’t able to enjoy the patio, as we had unseasonably cold, rainy weather. We will be back in the fall.

Mermaid excellent

The Mermaid Cottage has everything you’d want. It’s close to shopping and beach areas. The house is stocked with so many extras, like strollers, high chair, fire pit and outdoor patio.

Girls Trip 2024

We had a great time at the Mermaid Cottage! It was so clean and had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed the backyard space and firepit. We will definitely book again if we are in the area.

Bachelorette at the Mermaid Cottage

I had my bachelorette weekend on the Cape and was so happy to have picked the Mermaid Cottage as our place to stay! The cottage had a great amount of space for our group, beautiful outdoor patio, and was in a wonderful neighborhood. I highly recommend staying here for your next visit to Cape Cod.

A calming oasis

We came to attend a wedding and the property was perfect for location and comfort and the patio was a great spot for those who loved to get some rays and a wonderful spot for drinks at night. Definitely not a one time only. We are hooked and will be back again

Perfect family getaway

Mermaid cottage is in a beautiful neighborhood. The home is well equipped and very clean. There is an outdoor patio that is an added bonus for relaxing after a long day. The host is very friendly and accommodating. If I could give more than a 5 star rating I definitely would.

Wonderful cottage that lived up to reviews

All members of my group were impressed with location, cleanliness, and the overall feel of the cottage and especially the backyard! We were only minutes away from a couple of golf courses, restaurants and grocery stores and yet felt we were away from the hustle and bustle when back at the cottage. We never did get a total count of the mermaids throughout the place! Would definitely stay again.

Girls Weekend

Quiet neighborhood. Great place. Central location on Cape Cod with ease to get numerous places like Chatham, and both ferries, Hyannis, etc. Large bathrooms made it easy to share with others.

The perfect Mermaid experience!

My friends and I stayed at the mermaid college for a weekend getaway. It was the perfect stay! The house was adorable and felt like a home away from home. We sadly got a rainy weekend on the cape but decided to do a charcuterie night-in. The house made the stay. Thank you Louise!

Long weekend stay

Host was very responsive and accommodating, house was good to stay with children, but outdated in some ways with some of the host’s belongings around! The outdoor space was beautiful with firepit, bar and outdoor shower! Walking trail very close by! Overall perfect for what we used it for!

Week with family and friends

Cute house. Clean. We had an issue with electricity the 3rd day we were there. Out side lighting and some of the inside lamps wouldnt work. Couldn't use the nice outside area the last couple of evenings because of it. Wasn't happy about that because we invited family members over to use the firepit area and bbq that evening. Other than that, the house was adequate for our needs.

Beach Vacation

The family had a wonderful time at the “Mermaid Cottage”. The beach was nearby and multiple generations enjoyed it. I loved walking and playing on Mayflower Beach with my 3 year old grandson. The cottage was perfect and we all enjoyed time on the beautiful patio surrounded by tranquil gardens.
