Esta cabaña familiar se encuentra en un "punto de la tierra que se extiende en Deepwoods lago con una pequeña isla frente a la final 150. La cabina es única ya que el lago se envuelve alrededor de la cabina tanto en el lado este como en el oeste. El lago está a sólo 15 'de distancia de las ventanas de la cabina y siempre un balanceo lago brisa a través de la península y de la cabina. La natación y la pesca son excelentes, con aguas cristalinas en el lago con somormujos y águilas.
Paso dentro y sentir bienvenido y feliz. Los niños juegan juegos de mesa, peces, ranas encontrar y ser niños. Perros traen palos y nadar. Es como retroceder en el tiempo ... PERO EN ESTILO!
La cabina es pintoresca entre pinos de 100 años de edad y el lago se puede disfrutar desde cualquier habitación de la cabaña. Ambos lados del punto son excelentes para la pesca y se prefiere el lado oeste de la natación con el muelle más grande (16x8) y nadar balsa. Proporcionamos canoa y fila barco.
La cabina ofrece espacios flexibles para dormir. Tiene un dormitorio de la reina; un "corredor" porche cerrado con un registro doble litera completa / y otra cama doble que incluye un fregadero. El salón también cuenta con un futón tamaño completo.
La cocina de La cabina cuenta con refrigerador, estufa, microondas y fregadero doble.
El comedor / sala de estar tiene una chimenea de gas.
La cabina es de registro y los pisos son de madera con mantas trenzadas.
No wifi. Los teléfonos celulares tienen recepción.
El barracón ofrece un completo / doble litera, ducha y lavabo. El barracón es un espacio más simple, ofrece un refugio tranquilo al final del día para una segunda familia o pareja para disfrutar de la soledad y la privacidad separada de la cabina. El barracón está a solo 15 pasos de la cabaña y tiene vistas al lago.

This was a cabin which at that time had an outhouse (since upgraded). We thought the property was fantastic and very well equipped kitchen with many amenities (nice shower room, gas fireplace, fire pit with large supply of firewood, charcoal grill, canoe, raft to swim to, intestines, hammock, 2 docks). We had an incredible stay and hope to return next year.

Loved our stay here! While everyone else was suffering from heat and humidity we were cool and having fun on the lake! The views were beautiful, there were so many access points to view and visit the lake. The kids had a blast catching frogs, fishing, swimming, and canoeing. The owners were friendly and responsive. We felt so lucky to have this treasure shared with us so that we could experience it and make our own memories here!

This is a very special cabin! Such a beautiful lake and the cabin was so inviting. It truly was like stepping back in time. We loved swimming and fishing. We used the boat and canoe and fire pit. The hummingbirds were absolutely amazing. I have never seen more hummingbirds in my entire life and I would have sat and watched them all day. The things that were hard for us to adjust to was the no a/c and the outhouse. It is nice that they are getting plumbing soon though. Thanks for having us stay at your family's cabin.

Weekend up North

It is a cute, cozy cabin. Beds were comfy. Obviously loved by a family for many years and now shared with the public. Very close to the water which was nice. Very private and secluded. No towns very close (that we found), meaning few restaurants, bars, bakeries, etc. We saw eagle, loon, but not a lot. Fishing from the dock was fun, we caught several. Scenery was beautiful.

Lake cabin peace

The cabin was incredible, like stepping back in time. You can see the love and craftsmanship put into building this cabin. The decorations and pictures show the joy this cabin brings, which it did for our family as well. We had a group of 7 adults and there was sleeping space for everyone. In addition, the seating outside is amazing! There are so many chairs, benches, docks and places to sit alone or together. My kids fished off of one dock for part of the day, then would move over to the other dock and jump in the lake to swim. The swimming area is wonderful. It is a deep, cool area with no weeds or structure. The swimming pad was so fun to hang out on, we had many laughs. Because we were there in September, there was almost nobody else on the lake, it was so incredible. All the dishes and cooking spices, grilling supplies were provided. We really just needed to bring food and clothes because everything else was there for us to use. The weather was unusually hot for September, however, the cabin is completely shaded by trees and when you open the windows there is a lovely cross breeze that blows in from the lake. It never felt hot or stuffy there. This was a successful family vacation with so many happy memories. Thank you for sharing this beautiful cabin and lake with us.

We loved how picturesque the property and cabin were, and the easy access to the lake. There was a raft, tubes, and a canoe that we took advantage of as well as a fire pit and rope swing. Overall a really beautiful place.

Water was not potable. Oven did not work. Fireplace did not work. Out house only was not very well advertised. No TV or radio. Kitchen sink water drains into lake, probably the shower water as well. Electrical wiring runs within 5 inches of gas burners on stove top so you can only use the top two burners away from the wall. Mouse turds in the silverware drawer......

Amazing location!

We had an amazing time- perfect for a rustic getaway. Truly beautiful. The kids went wild for a week, we grilled on the patio and at at the picnic table every night. Swam to the island. Quiet nights, lots of privacy.

Northwoods Cabin Adventure

Cabin was clean, rustic and very secluded. It makes you feel like you are staying in the northwoods in a an old school hunting/fishing cabin. We enjoyed our stay! Wish we had more luck with fishing, 🎣, maybe next time. Beautiful area! We hope to make it back someday!

Our favorite!

This property is our heaven on earth! The fishing was great, even with 2 rainy days we still enjoyed these outdoors. The 100 year old white pines provided enough shelter even sit outside protected from the rain. I feel like part of the family enjoying the family pictures and homey feel this cabin provides. We brought everything we needed so we didn’t need to leave at all! We were all sad to leave. Can’t wait til the next time!

This place was better than in the pictures. Had an amazing time on the property that provided a range of outdoor activities. For us the views were amazing especially given the time of year with all the tree colors. The owner is amazing and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get off the grid and just relaxing.

Back Again

This cabin is just perfect. It has been years since we stayed here but it never left our heart. We have created some great memories with our family in this little piece of paradise. The sunrise is awesome! We love the loons and fishing for bluegills off the docks. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful old school cabin getaway

The property is as described, and just like the photos. We love the old-school charm of the cabin and property! We enjoy beautiful, sunrises and sunsets off the docks. We had fun fishing for bluegills near some submerged trees in a variety of places around the lake. Late night campfires by the waters edge was a huge bonus. Our kids loved exploring the woods, swimming in the water, and had fun playing in the bunkhouse! Would definitely stay again, and the hosts are very responsive and take care of the property. We had a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful time with family

We enjoyed the simple living, a change up from camping, and unusual in its quiet location. Perfect for 7 and 10 year old grandkids. And the dogs. Terrific swimming. Although the peninsula is small, it is private, and features many sit spots besides the cabin itself - there is the "living room" area of comfy seats by the dock, the fire circle with plenty of wood, and smaller spaces on the "other dock", hammock, and benches.

Timeless Beauty

My husband and I stayed up at this cabin for a week, our kids and young grandkids came up at different times. The cabin was absolutely wonderful!! There are a few different areas to gather all around the cabin. We swam, fished and went out on the canoe. The little kids had so much fun catching blue gills. Everyone had so much fun! We will definitely go back.
