"Majatalo oli pieni, siinä näytti olevan vain kaksi huonetta (jotka molemmat olivat isoja). Sijainti oli syrjäinen, mutta hyvä Yalan kansallispuistoa ajatellen. "Vi brugte hotellet som base for en safari i Yala National Park. Stedet er familiedrevet og med en meget hjælpsom og omsorgsfuld ejerinde. Vores værelse havde udsigt over rismarkerne, hvor der altid var aktivitet, både af mennesker, dyr og fugle. Stedet er rustikt men med alle nødvendige faciliteter i god stand. "Hi, the property was nice, but in the middle of the rice fields. They did not serve dinner, so you have to take a tuktuk to town. The room itself was large and beautiful, but the AC did not work and there was no fridge in the room."

"It was extremely difficult to check out. They do not have the facilities for customers to use a credit card. The girl at the front desk is nice but she is over worked; she cooks, cleans, wait tables and acts as thr receptionist too. The room was not ready at 3:30. "First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....

"The best service in Sri Lanka! We stayed one night in this property in the middle of the jungle. The staff is amazing - from pick up, through check in and until check out, they treated us like nowhere in Sri Lanka. They prepared an awsame dinner, took us for an hour tour around the property to explore the wildlife, organized a wonderful safari for us and even brought us things we needed from the shop in the city! The room si super clean and you will find there everything you need. A couple of practical advices: inform the property before arrival so that they can pick you up. Your driver won’t be able to go that far with the car. Buy the things you need before checking in, going back to the city is not an option in the night. But, you will be privileged to enjoy the wildlife and the nature and see some of the most beautiful scenaries and animals just a couple of steps from your room!"
