Named after the fabric threads that help sailors to trim their sails, Tell-Tale Cottage is a charming holiday home located in the heart of the conservation area of the Georgian town of Deal. The entire ground floor is an open space, perfect for families and friends to socialise, and there is a small, but sunny courtyard through French doors to the rear. Upstairs are two cosy bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. The cottage is a few yards from both the buzzing high street with its delis, boutique shops and cafes, and also a few yards from the main promenade and long pebble beach. Take some time to wander the interesting streets of Deal, a town steeped in Maritime history. Once a bustling location for smugglers and boatmen, there is plenty to explore. For guests who like country walks and historic sites, there’s plenty of choice nearby, including both Deal and Walmer castles, and a fabulous coastal walk to Kingsdown where you can enjoy a bite to eat at The Zetland Arms - a pub on the beach overlooking the White Cliffs of Dover. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the local clubs of Royal Cinque Ports and Walmer & Kingsdown golf clubs. The championship courses of Royal St George’s, and Princes are just a short drive away. Tell-Tale Cottage really does have everything you will need for a wonderful coastal holiday or short break in Deal.

Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.
