We were also given a prone under the category we had booked. The doors in the kitchenette were falling off, the fridge froze all our food…We had bad weather while we were there and rain water was all over the floor one morning when we woke up. The air dryer was missing … I had to ask 3 times to finally have...

"We had a wonderful stay at Hitgeheim Country Lodge. The road in is a little rough, but as it is an eco reserve, that is to be expected and part of the experience. The reward is the wildlife along the way, and we were lucky enough to encounter some zebras. We chose a room with a private pool, which was absolutely beautiful and made our stay feel extra special. We loved the port provided and enjoyed a delicious Taste of South Africa dinner in the restaurant. A lovely final touch was having our car...

"This is a great base within a secure compound. What let it down was inconsistency - I was asked why I didn’t leave the key when I went out for the day (it was needed to get back into the compound) No towels had been placed in the room so had to be requested - power plugs to t.v. Did not fit the power sockets so an adapter needed to be brought - T.v. Service card needed to be topped up before being able to access channels. room was serviced after 1st night but not 2nd. No water supply on...

"Um den Addo Elefantpark zu besuchen ist es ein wunderbares Hideaway, das zu empfehlen ist. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, etwas altmodisch, passt jedoch zum Stil des Guesthouses. Leider gab es nicht täglich neue Handtücher, aber wir haben auch nicht nachgefragt. Die Eatery ist ein sehr hübscher Platz zum Dinner und für das Frühstück. Wenn man es früh aber eilig hat wird es schwierig, da das Servieren der Eierspeisen gefühlt ewig gedauert hat. Ganz wunderbar ist der weitläufige Garten, der dazu...
