Stellar resort, great room, view
Great experience with this VRBO reservation and host. Key was ready, resort was wonderful. Room was nice size with peaceful balcony with view. Large bathroom. Kitchen amenities. Thank you for the experience. Short walk to beach. Because amenities aren't supposed to be included unless you book thru the resort, the pool may be off limits but you have the beach right there. When i called prior to confirm, they said no restaurants either (except Atlantic grille). Which is silly. Why turn down a resort guest spending money? But i went anyway and had no problems going to the restaurants. Hope they dont mind. Good security...make sure the guard has your name on email when you get to the gate. "This resort definitely doesn't do vrbo" when i told the guard I was on the list. Um yes, this resort certainly does do vrbo, sir. Overall a lovely resort and wonderful experience! All the Staff was friendly and phenomenal.

Where to begin?
Hammock Beach is an amazing location! It is unfortunate that this suite has not been maintained. Bathroom was clean; Bed is a sponge topper on a bed frame; the decor is unkempt and needs to be redone (owner says they do house flipping - they need to flip this suite). I attempted to communicate with owner at least a week before and never got a response. Just an automated text message. I am disappointed that VRBO has this listing - it doesn't meet their standards. With a bit of paint, spackle for the many nail holes, and new flooring, this has a great view and location for a nice stay. I had no option since it was paid for- to make it work. Don't stay here unless they do a complete remodel. There are other options in this same location.

Zero access to amenities
The actual condo had stains on the carpet, a toilet which slacked any type of flushing power to include it being only about a foot and a half off the ground with no support bars available to lift you up off the little toilet, they do have two toilet plungers available next to the toilet both of which have been used so much they're not effective. There was beach sand still in the jacuzzi bath. Enough about the condo though the property which supposed to be elite is furthest from that, The putt-putt golf course is nothing but a mud pit.. there was broken pathway lighting with exposed wires. I'd love to comment about the restaurants or the pool area however access was denied because there's some type of beef going on between the owner of the condo and hotel management. In fact upon reaching the guard gate to enter the property his attitude changed 180 when he we were renting this condo through VRBO n not staying at the resorts rooms. If like being treated like a second-class citizen this is your place.

Nice kitchenette, great that refrigerator was bigger with a freezer! Very comfy bed!! Really appreciated the sunscreen! Snacks were a nice touch as was the booklet with all the information 2 beach chairs and an umbrella would be a great addition

Beautiful condo
My husband and I really loved this condo. It had a gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony. This is an upscale condo with all the extra touches, for example the quality of towels and toiletries. We could tell the owner really wants the guests to feel comfortable and have a nice stay. The condo was also incredibly clean. We had a very nice time and would definitely rent it again.

The unit was as pictured with excellent views and a nice resort area but there were drawbacks. The carpet needs to be replaced. It was dirty and frayed. The bed was uncomfortable with simply a foam mattress and the couch sat too low for an elderly couple to get in and out of.

The location was fantastic, there was so much to do in and around the resort. The room itself was exactly as described and we were very happy with our stay. If we're ever back in the area we will definitely look to stay here again!

The condo was nice, exactly as it looks on listing. Our only issue was that when we tried to book a t-time for the beautiful Hammock Beach golf course (on resort) we were told we had no access to the amenities because we did not book through the resort. Turns out we had NO access to ANY resort amenities. Our bad for not asking before booking, as nothing is mentioned of these things- golf, pool, lazy river etc on the listing. Just disappointed we couldn’t even use the pool. I think this little “disclaimer “ should be mentioned as im sure we’re not the first to think we could have access to resort amenities.

Thank you did the nice getaway!
The place was perfect for the getaway that we needed but I wish the host would have been able to communicate with us more effectively. We were missing trash bags and weren't sure about the beach towel and chair situation. But we will definitely save this spot for a future couples get away.

Lovely accommodations and area to visit!
Lovely & pretty, enjoyable accommodations. The bed was very comfortable & sheets very nice. The bath tub was dusty & had to be cleaned. Poor quality toilet paper, not enough. Soap bars for bathing were 2 small & difficult to use. Dinnerware, glasses & cups were old & stained. Hard to use appliances, so didn't, but we loved the place and the area!

Rough start- great stay!!
Owners did not leave our name at security leading to a complicated /frustrating late- night check in - but property manager/owner was helpful to remedy Beautiful view and accommodations. Would highly recommend - look forward to staying again

Host Never Replied - we checked out early
The host never replied to our calls, texts or emails before, during or after our stay. The property advertises Wi Fi. The password was not on the frig where it was supposed to be. I run a business online and require WiFi and always confirm before booking anywhere. The host never responded and I got tired of running across the property to the business center to keep up to date on my business. The bed almost sank to the floor - obviously the mattress was VERY old. The painting at the front door was ripped and fell off the wall when the door closed. There are nails and holes throughout. Looks like the place was furnished at the antique thrift shop. And there was coffee for one morning. I will be requesting a refund for the entire stay. We did not have access to the pool or gym - but when we asked about the pool and gym prior to booking, they could not tell us until "after we complete the booking process". The owners do not have access since they are not in the resort rental program, and they know that. This is false/trick advertising and they know it. I have never had such an awful VRBO experience. Do not stay here unless you fully expect to never hear from the host if you need her (meggynne)

Great place/unit. Please read below if you care about amenities.
First of all, the unit and area itself is beautiful. Condo was clean had most everything you needed for your stay. We booked for spring break for my family (8 year old daughter + friend) and needed a pet friendly place. One of the main amenities is the lazy river pool, right in the middle of the complex. We did not realize upon booking that this is not included, but found out 3 days prior to check in. Since the wording on the listing has not been updated, I did want to let any future renters know this in advance. Hammock beach is beautiful. I have been there many times prior so I knew about the amenities on advance. Other than that snafu, everything else was great on our short 2-night stay.
