  • Located in Dauphin Island, this house is a dream. With 3 bedrooms featuring 2 queen beds and 1 bunk bed with a full on bottom and twin on top, guests will have a nice and comfortable stay. The 3 bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers and showers for added convenience. Relaxing spaces outside with shaded areas. Games and books for entertainment. Kitchen is equipped with all of the utensils needed for cooking at home. BarBQue for outside grilling.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, host and property were excellent, weather cooperated, for the most part. Fishing was awesome, Spanish Mackerel and Speckled Trout were biting, caught a Black Drum and several Sail Catfish. Looing forward to going back for another week long stay.

Becky was a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with! The location had everything you could need beach towels, laundry detergent, cooking oil, coffee it was like being at home. Additionally the entire property was gorgeous we really enjoyed and definitely will rebook in the future if available. Highly recommend staying here! Thanks Becky!

We had such a great experience! Check-in was easy and communication with the host was above and beyond. They were super helpful with any question we had and even brought propane for the grill when it ran out on Easter! We would recommend Sol-Mate to anyone interested and will be looking to book again.

Sol-Mate was the perfect place for us to stay while celebrating our anniversary. It is clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The outdoor area was very nice with more amenities for gathering, watching the sunset, fishing and relaxing. It is close to restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood was quiet and a great place to walk our dog. Communication with our host was flawless as well.We highly recommend this rental and look forward to returning.
The sunsets were spectacular.
We saw so many pelicans, doves, cranes and even dolphins on our last morning.
You can see the sun rise from the front door if you’re an early riser.

We loved this house and host! It was beautiful, sits right on the bay where the sunsets were incredible!! We fished and crabbed right off of the dock! The home is pet friendly, which we had planned for, but then lost our dog before our trip. The host was compassionate and caring and of course refunded our pet fees. This house was supplied with everything you could think of in case you forgot something. Towels, soaps, coffee pods, cleaning supplies, and an incredibly well stocked kitchen! We sure hope to visit this home again in the future!

Always a wonderful time on the island. Enjoyed the beach’s and lots of fishing! We loved this house it made you feel like we were on a ship, which was amazing!

We absolutely loved the house and location. We all had a great time hanging out on the back deck and fishing from the dock. House was well stocked and clean! Perfect location to view sunsets!

The house was beautiful! Water at your toe tips, from the dock. We enjoyed our stay so, so much. View of the bay at sunset was gorgeous. Will definitely book again with small group.

Family vacation

The house was beautiful and we definitely plan on going back next year! Most relaxing vacation I’ve had in years! All communication with the property manager was prompt and informative. We had an awesome time at Sol-Mate!

Loved being able to fish off the dock. Checkin was easy allowed us to check in a day early, Small hiccup at checkout, but never heard back from the owner, so can only assume all is well.

I highly recommend staying at Sol mate in Dauphin Island. The house is beautiful and set up well. There is a bedroom and bath downstairs on the first floor. A spiral staircase leads to the top floor with the other bedrooms and bath. The house is not a “ tiny home” per se but has the type of feel. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out over the bay. The home has a wonderful outdoor space. The home is central to everything Dauphin Island offers. The host was wonderful and communicated well and answered all of my questions right away.

Sol-Mate was absolutely our favorite of all the places we have stayed on the island. Convenient for fishing with EVERYTHING within reach. Walkways/ porches all the way around. Beach house. And a gorgeous sunset every afternoon. We did not want to leave. And will definitely be back soon. Owners were available for any questions or concerns which were only about dates for the future. No issues at all with our stay.

Nice view on the Mississippi sound side.We mistakenly went to the wrong house a couple of houses before the house we rented. They look similar. We couldn't get in the house (because we were at the wrong house) and contacted the owner of our rental. She was prompt in responding and helping. Long story short, she felt bad because we were waiting to have someone help us get into the house, even though it was our fault we were at the wrong house, and offered to let us stay longer. She didn't need to do that but she wanted to be sure we were happy. We were def pleased with our stay and her customer service. We will definitely be back and rent this house again! Very cute and had everything we needed.
