Gulf Front, Private Heated Pool, Pet Friendly, 2 Master Suites! – Island Time IV

Island Time IV is a very popular gulf front beach house, where you can enjoy unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico! It includes 2 master suites, both of which overlooking the beach, where you can settle in to the sound of waves and wake up seeing blue sky and an gulf front view. The open plan also includes a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen that also take in great light and the beach views. High ceiling and crown molding trim out the home in an upscale finish to go along with stone counter tops and great décor.
The private pool also sits on the gulf side of the home, maximizing sun exposure and giving your that same gulf view that you are coming for. You can sit by the pool and look out on your family sitting on our white sandy beaches. If you do need a break from the sun, there is also a covered part of the back deck to take in the salt air in the shade.
There is a second-floor game room that also includes it’s own walk out deck. So many places to hang out, it is great for large groups or families with kids.
This home is pet-friendly. The pool is heated from October 1 through April 30 at no additional charge.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit - $100 pet fee per pet applied.

The house was FILTHY nothing like the pictures on line. Dirty sheets on the bed and towels were sour smelling....had to rewash and the dryer was not working. They apparently do no maontenance on the house....the gate going downstairs fell completely off. I could not get anyone to come out their communication was terrible. The pool could not be used because it was leaking...then pouring out of the bottom. We did not even stay the whole planned time, left 3 days early because we just could not stand the nastiness. I have attached just a few pics.

Pretty good

Overall I would recommend this place as we’ve stayed in several different houses along the coast over the years. This house definitely goes along with the reviews as it needs some tlc. It is showing its usage of people coming and going. It needs holes patched in the walls, painted, doors and baseboards are dinged up and dirty. This house has the potential to be amazing if someone would give it a good cleaning and makeover. The only thing besides the wear and tear that was really an issue was the heated pool was not working. We went at spring break in which it was windy and chilly most days. The management responded quickly and someone came to look at the pool. I guess they couldn’t fix it bc it never warmed up. Our kids toughed it out and played in it the best they could. All in all it’s a perfect location and a good house that just needs some attention to details. Cleaning crew could have cleaned the fridge a little better as it reeked of fish from whoever was there before us. Management offered charcoal bags in which didn’t do much. But they tried in which we appreciated. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Water pressure wasn’t very good though. I would rate it a 7/10.

Beautiful property

This is a great spot and was just as described. A few minor things need repair, the code lock for the door didn't work (but the managers were on standby to offer the lock code for a physical key to unlock it). There is a kitchen drawer that is broken, the fridge water/ice is a little glitchy and some dips/ soft spots in the floor. Enough of the negatives! The property is beautiful. Sandy shores, lovely pool, comfortable clean beds, spacious layout, extra amenities (plastic bags, etc. Highly recommend, especially for a large group. Plenty of room with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Great place, thank you so much for our lovely getaway!!

Paying for location

Beautiful location with several issues with house. Reported light/fan not working, chair about to break, dryer sounded like a lawn mower. Deck had turned up boards and loose railings. House could have been cleaner. There was underwear on the deck when we arrived. Parking permit information was confusing - did not need a permit. Had a wonderful time at this house in spite of these issues! Beach was close & restaurants were very good. Enjoyed the boutiques. Saw dolphins almost every day. Beautiful sunrises & sunsets!

Needs Deep Clean

We arrived to find the house very dirty. Dauphin realty sent a person to reclean immediately which was nice. The living only has 2 couches that were very stained and filthy. We liked everything about the place except for the cleanliness. I would be embarrassed if it were my home.

Roaches and more.....

No working internet, tvs that did not work, inside of washing machine had brown sludge stuck all in it..it was not usable. Roaches in the kitchen cabinets. The floor had several "soft spots" like the floor was wet and soft underneath. No usable hoses attached to outdoor faucets. This house wad very expensive, even divided 4 ways!! Absolutely not worth the money and will nevet stay at this property again.

No decent pans to cook in , dish washer not working, dirty bed ,house swayed actually was moving

Bedroom down stairs leaks water in corner, the bed was nasty , house actually moved back and forth couldn't get much sleep, no pans to cook with the 3 that was there were trash food stuck to them , no trash bags to change out trash, water pressure was horrible, and drywall falling off around windows at the top there was no curtains in living room so sun would hit the TV screen and couldn't see the TV the property was beautiful the house was not kept up in decent shape needs plenty of work also the flooring in haul way is separated and ripped my sock and foot, pool people coming in during or stay is ridiculous 2 times . And people smoking out side the house on front side as they walk threw to go to the beach area the top deck railing is coming apart that's a safety hazard! Not at all what we expected for the kind of money we spent to stay there !

Perfect Beach Getaway

This house was perfect for our family. Perfect location on the beach, the kids and adults had easy access. The heated private pool was a major hit . The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked.

Beach Paradise

After 19 years of renting a home, we chose this area and home because we wanted a beach experience this year. This did not disappoint at all. It is a beautiful home with comfortable beds, great floor plan and beautiful unobstructed views of the gulf. The pool was perfect with lots of places to sit on in the water. The only issues were the very slow internet and communication with the rental company. Before we came, communication was wonderful but once we were in the house, none of our questions that were sent were answered. Luckily they weren’t too important. It was just disappointing. But all in all, this is a wonderful place to come to relax, just know that you have to climb a few steps to get into this beach paradise.

Not the best review or what you want to hear as a property management

Great location but the house needs a deep clean. The walls are all dirty and we had to buy dish soap, toilet paper, napkins and dishwasher soap. We found a bug in my kids bed plus white dog hair all over my sheets. The pool was really nice and warm and the house nice and cool. The bar chairs in the kitchen need to be replaced or cleaned, I didn’t even want to set on them, they where do gross looking. I would love to vacation at the island again just want to make sure it will be clean for the amount of money spent.

Adult Getaway

What a relaxing getaway in a prime location. Cannot get any closer to the ocean than this. The home itself was well stocked and had everything you may need. There were minor cosmetic issues but that is to be expected in a rental. Had an absolutely wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Amazing home, poor communication from Dauphin Beach Rentals

Amazing property. Unfortunately, I never received the check in code on the app at 3pm like I was supposed to. Tried to call you but it went to voice-mail. Left a message and you didn't call me back. Sent a message on the app and you didn't answer it. Luckily my girlfriend got a hold of the property owner directly and we got in. Poor communication on your part.

Relaxing and fun trip.

We had wonderful, friendly service from Dauphin Island Beach Rentals. The home was very welcoming, relaxing, right on the beach, heated pool, beautiful views. We experienced all kinds of birds on and around the deck, dolphins, hermit crabs, beautiful Gulf of Mexico water, sunrises, sunsets, plentiful sun and perfect temperatures for a November trip. The amenities were spot on in the description.

Absolutely dirty and unkept

All showers were thick with mold. Kitchen sink was backed up and grease was all over. There was poop in the upstairs sink. Outdoor furniture was so rusted that my dad fell through a chair. There were all sorts of stains and residues on the walls. Linen were all stained. Master bedroom comforter was stained with blood. I will NEVER recommend to anyone. Absolutely unacceptable.

Fabulous location

We loved this house so much that we rented it again for August. The house is beautiful and you can’t beat the location. We loved having the convenience of our own pool and being right at the beach. Can’t wait to come back!
