Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a carefree vibe throughout the well-appointed living area. Marvel at every corner bathed in natural light from the oversized viewing windows and relax and make yourself at home. Rest on the plush furniture, indulge in a movie night on the large TV, or curl up with a fantastic book as you feel your cares evaporate. Hobby chefs will love preparing grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the sophisticated kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample cupboard room, and a formal dining table. Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms ensure that everyone will receive a wonderful night's rest from the day's activities, with the sound of the ocean waves lulling you to a peaceful sleep.

A washer/dryer is provided so you may return back to reality with the convenience of clean clothes. Two main bedrooms boast a private entrance to the expansive balcony, a TV for private viewing, and a luxurious en suite bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower. Kids will love hosting sleepovers in the bunk room, creating memories that'll last a lifetime.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This house was all it was listed as on the VACASA webpage. The furniture was in very good shape, the beds comfy, and lots of bathrooms to share with a large group. Part of the gulf view is blocked by another house, but it also sits back far enough so that our steps weren’t underwater when the tide came in. Storms kept us inside half of our stay but would love to return sometime.

The house was laid out very well with plenty of room for our large family. It was stocked well with dishes, pots and pans and right on the beach. There were a couple of minor issues that were inconsequential but property management attended to them promptly. Would definitely rent this house again. We had a great time!

House was very nice and location was good. Had all the minimal basics - no extras. Linens were not good quality and furniture wasn't very comfortable. The biggest complaint was the fact that nothing was mentioned at time of booking that the property owner was building another house partially in front of this house. It was mentioned when the balance was due and it was too late to get a full refund. The construction debris was. not only an eye soar, but a danger zone. there were nails and pieces of construction debris throughout the beach area in front of the house we rented. I'm sure it'll be cleared up when it's completed, but we weren't happy about it.

10 days before our trip, the property owners (Vacasa) let us know that there would be ‘construction on the beach in front of the house’. I contacted them and they ensured there would still be a ‘beach vibe’. However, when we arrived, there was a new house (same owner as the house we rented) that was under active construction and blocking half the view from the house. The beach was strewn with boards, metal, nails, etc. from the construction. And from 8-4pm each day a boom lift (very loud and shaking the house) and crew were installing windows. We contacted the property owners multiple times, who had a quick response time to say they were looking into it, but there was never any response about the construction. It ruined being at the house during the day for three days we were there. Dauphin Island has many beaches, so we went elsewhere. But it was impossible to get to the beach with all the workers and construction machinery. Asked Vacasa for a refund, they said they would give one night, but we have heard nothing more. I recognize they can’t always control construction, however, it’s their property, they knew about it, and clearly the construction had been going on for more than 10 days as the house was near completion. If we had known or been offered information about what was really going on, we could have tried to rebook. I will never rent from Vacasa again.

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of this property, especially with it so easy to track sand in to the house. The views were amazing and the beds were soft. Nice big TV and comfortable couch. Exceeded our expectations.

Pros: beautiful new house, very comfortable and nice layout. Wonderful beach steps from the stairs! Great internet connection. Nice amount of towels in the bathrooms. Each room has a good tv. Deck and hot tub are fabulous. There is a gas grill. Would book again. Cons: No cable as advertised- no live tv unless you have internet subscription. Very low water pressure in shower and beds are very very firm. Kitchen could use a little more pots and pans -we cooked a lot. There isn’t a Keurig coffee maker- just a mr coffee but is programmable. Lights do a lot of surging like there’s an electrical problem with the wiring - happens in every room.
