Sandcastle 6A Completely Renovated Modern Condo On the Water Steps to the Beach

  • Step out of our beachfront getaway and into the sand. The minimal décor allows the view to speak for itself and lets both your body and mind relax. Every room has a view of beach. The pool is steps from the condo.
    The condo offers the following rooms: King Suite (has walk-in shower with seat) with balcony, Queen Suite (has jacuzzi tub/shower) with balcony, and Queen Bedroom on the main floor has a door to the main deck. All linens are provided and each bedroom includes its own charging station. Home uses central heat and air with ceiling fans throughout. There is a half bath on the main level. This recently renovated, modern interior also has a variety of appliances and tools for convenience: Fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, coffee pot can brew by the pot or k-cups, washer & dryer, microwave, toaster, blender, TV's, wireless internet, ice maker, ironing board, iron, hair dryer.
    The living room features a sweeping view through two walls of windows. The oversized couch is perfect for relaxing at night or taking a midday nap. The blackout shades and curtains are easily closed to offer respite from the sun.
    The beautiful and yet practical outside area offers just as much comfort with a hot and cold outdoor shower, great for everyone rinsing off the sand and ocean water, especially for little ones. The open decks allow you to bask in the sun while sipping an early morning coffee or enjoy meals in, all while listening to the nearby waves and watching the dolphins play. After watching the magically colorful sunset, everyone can head inside to enjoy the decks of cards, games, and puzzles available for family fun!
    Close by you’ll find the Alabama Aquarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab, the ferry, Historic Fort Gaines, the Bird Sanctuary, and local art galleries.
    Parking notes: There is parking for two vehicles in the parking area underneath the condo. Only two vehicles will be allowed at the condo at all times.
    HOA does not allow guest pets. Dining room has been converted to a third bedroom. All two bedroom rules apply to unit.

Location was great. Views amazing. Property manager living on site was very friendly and helpful. Everything about the stay was nice except there was a lot of dog hair in the condo even though the listing says no pets. It is very obvious the owner has a dog. This should be known in case someone planning to book is allergic. The owner was very responsive and accommodating when brought to their attention. Letting us use new sheets and their vacuum.

Perfect beach vacation

We've stayed at many different beach houses and this was the best. Incredible views, very clean and updated house, fantastic location for a beach vacation. Could not have asked for anything more. We typically go to different cities for each vacation, but we'll be planning another visit soon.

We had the best time in Dauphin Island. The house is beautiful and just as described in the listing. The pool and beach are just steps away which made vacationing with little kids that much easier. The complex was quiet and the beach was nearly empty everyday. It felt like a private beach! We will definitely be back soon!

Right next to the Ocean

Property was very nice. Proximity to the ocean was what my wife liked the most. Amenities were great. Weather was OK, not warm, but not real cold. Great place to relax.

What a view!

This was our first time on Dauphin Island and our stay was great! Communication with Kellie before and during our trip was very responsive. The condo has plenty of space. The proximity to the pool and beach made a trip with kiddos very enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great place!

Very nice place and finishes! About as close as you can get to the water. Felt like you were staying in someone’s well-kept place… rather than just some random rental. Highly recommend.

A beautiful condo !

The location was perfect. The condo was clean and newly redone. The beds were very comfy and kitchen was well stocked. I wish the downstairs bedroom had a place to hang/store clothing but I’m betting it will next time. Great place!

We had an amazing time and the condo had everything we needed. We didn’t have to purchase anything to get us through the week other than food. We loved it and will definitely return!

Family trip

This was our first time to the island and this was such a wonderful experience. Our family was so happy with the condo. Not only was the condo beautiful, clean, just like the pictures and had everything we needed. It was on the beach and next to the pool could not have been any more perfect for a family of 6. We will be back !

Steps to the beach

Great condo steps away from the pool and beach. Perfect for small children. Space was very clean and tidy and Kellie was very responsive. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Amazing Property

This property was amazing. Clean, fully upgraded, lots of amenities such as outdoor shower, beach chairs, umbrella, 2 pools (one heated), right on the beach, tvs in every room, fans with remote controls, all bedrooms have a view of the beach. You will not be disappointed. Host is super helpful. We plan to stay here again.

This condo was the perfect getaway. It was located in the corner unit so the beach and the pool was just a couple of steps away which was perfect.
