The Pour House is located in the private Audubon Place community on the Island's beautiful eastern end, where you can enjoy the Gulf beach, maritime dunes, and nearby Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Built on the Gulf Beachfront, this home has lovely beach views and a large open and covered deck for soaking in the sun and Island breeze.

The Pour House has a spacious open floor plan with incredible gulf beach views, four bedrooms and two full baths. The southwest Gulf front primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, gulf-front view, private full bath, walk-in closet, and flat-screen cable TV. The southeast bedroom has a Queen bed, a gulf-front view, and flat-screen cable TV. The northeast bedroom has a queen-sized bed and flat-screen cable TV. The northwest bedroom has two twin beds and a flat-screen cable TV.

Amenities include central heat/air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, full-sized washer/dryer, microwave, ice maker, 5 Cable TVs, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and an open and covered Gulf front deck. Covered entry stairs are also available from underneath the home for your convenience. Recent summer 2024 upgrades include new TVs, new flooring, and freshly painted interior walls.

In early 2024, the Dauphin Island east-end beach re-nourishment project was completed, restoring the gorgeous beach for your enjoyment. For your convenience, The Pour House has a private dune walkover that allows you to easily and quickly cross the new dunes to access the Gulf Beach. Exterior camera is present, camera is mounted to south deck exterior to view beach.

Guests must comply with Audubon Place community policies and procedures:
No RVs or campers are allowed in Audubon Place.
No parking is permitted on the street; all vehicles must park in the home's driveway.
Gate entry cards are provided for two vehicles.

A Shore Thing

Property was ok. Floor an nice. However furnishings were awful. Essentials were lacking no toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher soap, beds nothing more than frames on floor and horrible matress. Towels were aweful. Location great however.

Thanksgiving week stay 2019

This property is as described, it sits directly on the beach with amazing sunrises & sunsets. The dolphins come by daily close to shore. Plenty of pots and pans but the non-stick pans coating had been consumed by previous guests. I'll bring my favorite pan next time. As mentioned by previous guests, some updating would be nice (although we could tell some work has been done). There are two levels on the deck. The lower level has some boards replaced and is in pretty good condition. The upper deck has plenty of splinters and raised nail heads. Recommend wearing shoes. The deck chairs are new with nice cup holders. The folks at Broadway Realty were great. Couldn't ask for more. We noticed a couple of things on our departure and reported them. I'm sure the folks at Broadway will be on top of it. The leash law on the beach doesn't apply to special people, and there were plenty of special people. All things said, we had a wonderful time and will be back. This is a very quiet, serene location. Thanks!

Awesome location. Great people to deal with. Great house , but do agree with other reviews, needs some updating. But it did not take away from the overall house. The deck and view and closeness to ocean was 5 Plus stars.

On the beach

This house is right on the beach. Excellent location. House could use a few updates. Need to make sure there are an adequate number of linens for the bathrooms. Overall it was a wonderful place.

House was very spacious. View from deck was great!

Some updating of the home would be nice. For example, toaster and deck chairs need replaced. Deck wood is splintering and some screw heads are coming up. it’s easy to snag your foot on those. Washing machine/dryer were excellent. Selection of dishes and cooking utensils was very good. Property management staff were fantastic! This is a great get away. The beach is so close and well maintained! We are a family of 6 with two young boys. Everyone had plenty of space and the home accommodated a family very well. Gated Community is very quiet and peaceful.

Perfect location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. This house was exactly what we were looking for. It’s right on the beach and in a very quiet neighborhood. Love the easy beach access. So relaxing! The ladies at Boardwalk Reality were very helpful. Easy check in and out. The house could use a few updates but it won’t keep us from coming back!

Beautiful view!

The view from this beach house is spectacular! The first few minutes there we were greeted by a beautiful heron that landed on the railing on the deck. There were dolphins and all kinds of birds to enjoy. The food on the island is wonderful! We came out to relax, unstress and enjoy our 30th anniversary and that we did! Thank you for a really nice memory!
