"We stayed for a night for a birthday celebration. On arrival, the receptionist had informed us that we received a free upgrade on our room! The room was lovely. Lovely decor, felt cosy and very comfortable. The fridge had milk in for our use and a couple of breakfast bits which were complimentary. "Great communication from booking site regarding access to building, the room was on the very top floor with unfortunately no lift which if you have mobility issues then this may not be the place for you. "Lovely little spot in a great village of Marsden, with very nice and well presented lodges. Walking distance to pubs and cafes. The location is also on the canal-side so great walks on starting on the doorstep. Lodge was lovely and the log burner was lovely to put on after a long evening walk this time of year. ONLY negative for us is that we feel the entrance door on the Redbrook lodge needs a little blind or something on the window for privacy. Also the light coming in if you want a lie-in....

"Very easy experience from booking as great communication from the owner. This self catering rental has everything you need from a comfortable lounge to a fully equipped kitchen, I even cooked a full English breakfast! Surprisingly quiet considering it was on the second floor of a 3 story block accessible up 2 flights of concrete stairs therefore would not be suitable for less able bodied people. Taxis cost roughly £5 into town, however, the local bus stop is close by. Ample off street parking...
