"Great location, clean rooms. Easy check in and check out."

"I don't want this to actually be a complaint because the staff was great but, at check in, the key programmer wasn't working so we had to prop open the door for a while so we could load in. After I did get a key card, we only received one and there were actually two of us so a little inconvenient. Also, the key card would only work on the outside door and would not work on the inside door. Other than that, everything was okay. Loved the new restaurant."

"Booked a room facing the main parking lot but still had a great partial view of the ocean from our balcony! It was relaxing to sit outside on the chairs and look at the ocean, especially to view the sunset. The room was clean, and spacious, with comfortable beds and quiet. It was nice to have a table and chairs to eat inside or play games at night. The breakfast had different items each day, including a hot section where the staff served you, plenty to choose from. "Great property the only thing I would change put curtains on door outside string lights do shine pretty bright thru glass in door. We put a towel over but everything else was great."

"Saltaire Cottages was a great place to stay for a few days. It was cleaned and had what we needed for those few days. When you drive up it seems to be a little outdated. The inside of our cottage had been redone and it was fine. The location is great, right across the street with their own beach access. The beaches were not so crowded on any day that you felt like you were right on top of each other."

"It has a new feel and very clean. Like that it’s easy to walk to beach and loved the free breakfast!"

"The room was clean and quiet. There was coffee in the lobby and the restaurant,The Seaside Bistro,served a delicious breakfast and had outside seating available. The beach was a short walk and an indoor pool was inviting. The shower didn’t have shampoo and conditioner dispensers and and the bathroom only had two round small bars of soap to use.The entrance to the hotel didn’t have automatic doors and also had an incline to bring your luggage and belongings in. "

"I love how close it is to the beach and how every room has an ocean side. Sometimes you can hear street noise from the main drag in our room, however to be fair there was a car show in the park two blocks away. Really love staying here. "

"We stayed in a dune front room and it was just a short walk over the dunes, to the beach. Clean and comfortable. Outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffet. We plan to come back here again someday. A lot of bang for your buck!"

"We really enjoyed our 2 nights here! The main complaint is the parking lot. One night we came in and there was 1 spot left. It was very hard to get into the spot and was impossible to get out. Please work on your parking and maybe make the space at the pool compact car only and then encourage those cars to not park elsewhere...."

"Nice basic cottage right across from Jeanette’s Pier. Room was clean and well stocked with linens. Bed comfortable. Stove could use a cleaning but we just heated up pizza in it no biggie. They allow pets with a fee. Really great restaurant next door. Sam and Omie’s. Will stay here again "

"The location is great, right next to the Nags Head Pier, and close walking distance to local dining spots. Being right on the beach was a great plus. The rooms are clean and they have plenty of room. However, the beds weren’t the best, and I had an achy back most of the trip because of it. The A/C was working great, but was very loud.
