The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was okay, it became very repetitive with very little changes between dinner and lunch menus. Breakfast was always the same. I would suggest properly labelling the food items, especially the meats as anyone other than the chef knew what type of meats were being served. I also did not appreciate that the sushi restaurant was only available to persons who stayed for a week and longer. If you stayed for a shorter period, you had to pay. This was not communicated to us at all, only that a reservation needed to be made. I think once I'm paying for an all inclusive resort, all restaurants should be available to us, unless clearly stated beforehand (which it was not). All in all the stay was decent but I would not return.

It was not activities at all on the resort. The staff were rude upon check in did not tell us anything about the resort what so ever not food amenities anything. No one directed us on how to get to our rooms. The rooms were never cleaned our entire stay. The AC in the room could not be adjusted. The pool chairs and chairs in dining room were disguising. Only a few staff were nice. All the women staff were extremely rude and not accommodating at all. The only good part was the food and the bartenders. But it was no frozen drinks for our first 2 days. Overall terrible would not stay here again!!

Room was ok, statt very unfriendly, limited food selection and most of the food dont taste good for an all inclusive resort, far from the city, excursions office closes at 1pm, only 1 snack bar and the is waiting more than 30mn.

I just got home this morning from my stay. I had a wonderful time. Foolishly I had neglected to contact the staff before booking to explain my age and inability walk long distances or climb multiple flights of stairs. They were totaly booked and I was afraid I would have to look for other lodging. Luckily the young lady at the desk Keisha, was one of the the most helpful, professional and caring people imaginable. She spoke to the manager and found me a ground floor room with nearby parking that was empty but not cleaned from the last guest, she told me to go to the restaurant to have dinner, and she went and prepared the room while I ate. The room was spotless, the rest of the staff was very nice and the food was great. I would stay there again any time.

The two star is for the water park amenities and the size of the room for a family of 5- if I could rate everything else separate to that I would give it a 1 (being generous).. when booking a trip in another country it is very important to read reviews and hope that the reviews are accurate, and the 7.8 star review for this resort is far from the truth. Here is my honest review for our stay and experience- Pros: Water park for kids Large apartment areas with plenty of space On site parking Cons: -Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff -Food is mediocre at best- no variety and only one option for restaurant- all inclusive does NOT mean unlimited drinks in rooms, cannot bring food back to your room from buffet. Once food was out it was barely replenished at the buffet -we had no blankets in our room the first night, it took 3x requests the entire next day to get blankets- they said they forgot to put them in the room and were “too busy” to get them to us -robot bar was not working the entire week- none of the frozen drinks working- only one bar open - no entertainment/activities other than bingo one night for 30 minutes -pool/water park closes at 5pm -fire ants everywhere in room (comes with tropical territory, I didn’t ding for this) -coffee in room is not free- you need to pay for this -toilets were leaking all over and the water pressure was terrible/either too hot or too cold I think the worst part of the entire stay was the eye rolling and unfriendliness. Look elsewhere!

Room was fine. Pools were fine. Drinks were good. Service was fine. The food was absolutely awful. There were no signs saying what anything was and what I did try was gross. Lived off salad and French fries. I’m not asking for 5 star for the price I paid. But come on. Also, only had hot water in the shower in the afternoon, never in the morning and something other than a sheet for the bed would’ve been nice.

Liked the space and layout of the room. The balcony was lovely. Spent many hours sitting at the table there playing cards and reading. Pools are good. The kid's pools seemed to be great as well. The reception staff were very courteous, check in and check out were easy. The location is good. As long as you are ok not being on a beach. very close to the airport, Punda and other shopping. If you are thinking this is AI like Cuba, Mexico or Dominican you will be very disappointed. Entertainment was a mediocre DJ on 2 nights of our 6 night stay. But the biggest reason for the 3 rating is the food. It was absolutely awful. The Pizza was pretty much the only thing that was appetizing. You won't go hungry but the buffet is repetitive and the food is poor quality. Over cooked and bland. I would stay there again but only if we were to rent an apartment with kitchen so we would be able to eat on site.

I give it 3 stars for the following reasons. When we arrive we did have to wait more than 2 hours our to get into our room because it was not ready. We visit in the Carnival season which is very busy. Eventhough they offer us to enter the room while they were still cleaning i think they could have done better. By offers vouchers or gift cards. Room need more maintance and cleaning(dusty). AC was leaking water. Eventhought we did call for assitance during the reception working hours nobody pick up. I think the hotel was understaff. During our second day nobody came to cleanup. One thing to keep in mind if your room is on the 3rd floor it can be very annoying if theres alot of wind which will make the Palm trees shake i make alot of noise. Specially during night hours. However great place for families and couples. Delicious foods and drinks. We love the Pizza Restaurant. A lot of pools to choose from GYM is spot on. Staff are very friendly.

The suite only had AC in the room, everywhere else in the suite was always Hot, the bathroom was not sanitary. Upon arrival there was hair on the sink, and shower, the paper towel thing was empty and inside there was bugs. When the cleaners did came. They did even empty our trash, they just swept, and fix the bed sheets, didn’t even change them. And there was a stain on the pillow case. Despite pointing it out they were not charged. The food was mediocre, nothing was labeled if you had an allergy you have to be real careful about what you pick to eat, dude to things not being labeled and cross contamination. The bar could not make something as simple as margarita. Staff were friendly though, and there was ample parking.

ROOM, STAFF & AMENTIES. I didn’t get the room I paid for which was double room. I had to settle for a standard room. No washcloths, geckos was all in the room. Not enough staff on duty. No bars open after 11pm. Nothing to eat on the resort after a certain time. Pools open at 10am. The tour too Porto Mari Beach was Nice. At the Taxi guy Bryan was nice who picked us up from the hotel to take us to the airport.

Tweepersoonsbed van p22 zakt. Leek of je in een kuil lag. Heb bij de receptie gemeld. Er kwam gelijk iemand langs en daarna niks meer gehoord. Voor de rest was alles prima

The bed had no head board, no draws only a small closet with 6 hangers.The sheet had a stain day we arrived and day after it was changed. The TV wasnt clear and when trying to reach front desk it just kept ringing no one picked up.
This is 2 tables no draws

The staff was not friendly. Staff working bar/drink area told us no we couldn’t have certain thing that were on menu. Asked for clean towel on Saturday, received them Thursday, we were checking out Friday. No hot water at any time of the day for showers. Pools were cold. We weren’t aware the water park day pass guests were allowed into resort area on a day pass. Not a very good selection of food at the only restaurant for entire resort. The pizza was great, my family lived on it for a week. When we booked this resort description said a 5 minute walk to beach- it’s a 20 minute bus ride to the closest beach. Overall not impressed at all by its Kunuka Aqua Resort. Island is beautiful and the weather was great.
