"Disappointing, overpriced hotel. Our room was small, bland, basic and uninspiring with a view of a hedge right in front of the window. It was located on the ground floor of a separate building on the parking lot. Not at all what we expected from a 4 star property and certainly not for the price we paid. Don’t be mislead by the beautiful professional pictures on the hotel’s website and various booking sites. You’ll be disappointed. It’s well located in the centre of Bruges close to the Markt but...

"Room was poorly ventilated. Bathroom sink was clogged and did not work. Staff couldn't fix it neither could give us another room. Terrible experience."

"Breakfast was great ! The restaurant food was amazing. Shopping everywhere around the hotel , great location . Historical room bathroom upgraded . No air conditioning but really the age of the hotel it would be out of place . Overall we would definitely recommend and stay again !"

"Absolutely fantastic breakfast. We stayed in the Mansion suite and it was spacious, great air conditioning, beautiful, and clean. All of the staff working at the front desk where I would standing. Being able to book a time and there Spa in the basement each day was also a bonus since it was included. Absolutely fantastic location to stay in Bruges."

"It’s a lovely hotel and exactly what you would expect from a Relais & Châteaux property. The restaurant is excellent, the staff are warm and welcoming, and overall I had a very enjoyable stay. My only disappointment was the bed. Before arriving, I specifically requested a double bed and was assured this would be provided. However, the room had two single beds pushed together with a double sheet over them, which was exactly what I had hoped to avoid. I also found the turndown service unusually...

"Pro: AC worked very well, bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious. Con: Towels didn’t smell fresh. Shower didn’t drain properly. Staff made us wait to ensure they got their money from Expedia which I thought was really weird. All attention at check out went there and they didn’t ask if we had enjoyed our stay."
