  • Nueva cabaña rústica moderna que respalda el Parque Estatal Grayson Highlands. Prepárate para observar las estrellas y noches frescas y refrescantes. A minutos del Grayson Highlands State Park y el Creeper Trail. Todas las comodidades modernas en un entorno rural.

    La cabina es una cabina tradicional de los Apalaches de cola de milano completa construida de pino blanco. La cabina mide alrededor de 600 pies ² con baño completo, área de cocina / comedor completa, área de dormitorio tipo loft. La estructura tiene un porche delantero abovedado cubierto y un porche trasero. Hay muchas comodidades para que el huésped se sienta más como en casa, como toallas, ropa de cama, jabón / champú, utensilios de cocina, ollas / sartenes y todo lo que pueda necesitar para cocinar una buena comida. También tenemos una parrilla de hervidor Weber en el porche trasero para asar a la parrilla. Además, ofrecemos café complementario y un paquete de leña para el pozo al aire libre.

    La cabina está ubicada en un hermoso lugar a aproximadamente 4000 pies de elevación. Debido a la elevación, las temperaturas suelen ser mucho más frías que las áreas circundantes. Se recomienda llevar una chaqueta incluso en los meses más cálidos. Debido a la proximidad al Parque Estatal Grayson Highlands, ocasionalmente puede ver un pony salvaje preguntándose por la propiedad. Hay abundante vida salvaje alrededor de la propiedad, que incluye ciervos, pavos, muchas especies de aves y ocasionalmente osos.

    El camino a la cabaña es un camino de ripio mantenido por el estado. Aunque un automóvil / camión 2wd funcionará bien, recomendamos un 4wd si es posible debido a la naturaleza empinada de la carretera. El Departamento de transporte de Virginia (VDOT) hace un trabajo fantástico al mantener el acceso a la cabina en buen estado.

This is a gem of a modern Scandinavian remote country cottage. The landscaped fire pit patio, and large covered front porch are very comfortable outdoor areas. Indoors has everything you need including a very comfortable and deep bathtub. We were a group of 4 friends traveling to hike at Grayson’s Highlands and thoroughly enjoyed our evening here.

The house was perfect! So cute and exactly as advertised. The host was very responsive and seemed to be available quickly whenever I had a question. Highly recommend and would love to go back.

Family friendly. Very clean. A true shower rather than bath with handheld would be an improvement. So glad we arrived in the daytime as it would have been a bit confusing to get to at night. Overall lovely one night stop!

Cabin and property is super cute, neatly nestled at the top of a pretty steep hill on a country road. There’s Christmas tree groves surrounding the cabin which the kids loved. Definitely download the check-in instructions and the map on how to get here. There is hardly any cell signal, but the have WiFi once your at the cabin. Great stay!

The cabin was perfect for me. The property was so pretty. It was so quiet and relaxing. I saw deer, heard turkeys, saw rabbits, and chipmunks. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. I appreciated the tub after all the hiking I did. And so close to Grayson Highlands State Park. They also had pamphlets about all the things to do in the area.They also were very helpful to my partner when he reached out to them because he hadn’t heard from me. It was reassuring to know that.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Anders Cabin. It is such a special little place in a very quiet, peaceful setting. It is a steep road up, but we had no difficulty with our CRV. The cabin was super clean and very comfortable. The whole property was impeccable. We appreciated the coffee and the well stocked kitchen and linens. Communication from Jon was very helpful. After long days of hiking at Grayson Highlands, the big tub and comfortable beds were a welcome way to end our days. We also enjoyed a fire on the patio and some star gazing. We were pleasantly surprised at how direct it was to get to Grayson Highlands as well. This is a place we would definitely like to visit again!

This is a gem of a place. Secluded, quiet, conveniently located to Grayson Highlands state park. The wood stove was just what we wanted to stay toasty on the cold windy nights. Kitchen is well appointed and the bathtub is fantastic. Communication was great and we had no problems getting in. We plan to return soon!
