We were probably the very first guests at this property, and overall it was a lovely stay. We're leaving this review in hopes it helps the host refine the experience for future guests. The space is charming, homey, and well-stocked with household essentials, which speaks to the host's thoughtfulness. The bathroom and beds were lovely.A few gaps we noticed:1. Before arrival: We didn't receive a welcome text after booking, which made us uneasy. With no reviews yet, it was hard to feel assured the listing was legitimate.2. Communication: No check-in instructions anywhere. We reached out two hours before check-in and our text went unanswered, so we had to call.3. Upon arrival: No welcome pamphlet or posted info in the unit. Every room had its own light and fan remote, which took some figuring out. The WiFi wasn't obvious either; when we asked, we were told it was "on the modem" and had to find it ourselves.4. Security: The curtains on the first bedroom were open on arrival and we could see straight inside. Thought we were lost! That same bedroom had no working lock — a safety concern worth addressing.5. Nice-to-haves: Mouthwash was a nice touch, but no disposable cups were available. A hair dryer would be a welcome addition. Most of these can be resolved with better upfront communication and a simple one-pager covering WiFi, house rules, and anything unique about the space. With those improvements, this could easily be a standout property. Wishing the host great success!
