PETS:
2 pets max. Prior authorization, agreement and fee is required for pets to stay. A pet fee of $150 is required. Large breeds may require an additional deposit. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet(s) both inside and outside the home. You will also be held responsible for any damage they cause to the property. Pets are not to be left at home unattended unless crated and are not allowed on beds or any other furniture.

SMOKING:
Guests, please note *no smoking allowed inside home or close to entryways* violating this rule will result in immediate removal with no refund and a $500 cleaning fee.

POOL:
Regularly cleaned to maintain proper sanitation and chemical balance. While occasional leaves may fall in, it doesn’t affect the pool’s cleanliness—just like relaxing on a well-maintained lawn.

This home was very deceiving from the pics. It was DIRTY. So gross, we didn't put 1 foot in the masters shower. It was full of mold. The pool had green algee up and down the sides. Our 2nd day there, a man showed up to treat it. Unannounced. Looking up and seeing him in the backyard scared us. We didn't realize he was the pool guy for a few moments. The pool table didn't have chalk. The air hockey didn't work and didn't even have pucks if it would have worked. The sliding doors were so hard to open. The wooded handle came off trying to open. My husband didn't realize a screw came out, and he stepped on one. A thick screw that he had to pull out. It took 20 min to stop the bleeding. The home from the street looked abandoned and condemned. An over grown tree covering the entryway. I called the support person because this was not in the photos. We thought we were at the wrong house. Our code didn't work to get in either. The garage is on thr back side of the house. The VRBO assistance told me there was no garage thats pictured on the site. We learned that when we were there for a bit. There were random piles of dirt oIn the home. Almost looked like ant hills. The grass wasn't mowed. It was past my ankles to mid shin. The landscaping around the pool was overgrown. We felt uncomfortable sitting with our back to it because of snakes/lizzards. A cleaning fee is a joke. It was diirty when we got there. The toilet in the master didnt flush well.The beds were nice. Grill was nasty.

Needs Upkeep

I want to start by saying I hardly ever leave poor reviews but this property needs some help. Upon arrival it is apparent the place is not kept up very well. It had unkempt lawn, shrubs were overgrown blocking the sidewalk leading up to the front door. The back yard area was very unkempt as well. Overgrown grass, old lawn furniture strewn around and not usable. Gas grill was filthy and wouldn't use it to cook any food. The manager said the pool had been cleaned that day but still looked dirty. I believe the pool is just old and stained. The photos used on their VRBO advertisement must be from a long time ago. The inside was ok. However the shower in the master bedroom had mold on the tiles and on the shower curtain. It was missing some basic necessities. Only three coffee cups were available for a home that sleeps up to 10. There were no paper towels and the dishwasher was still not unloaded when we arrived. I did contact the owner/manager and they brought over more coffee cups and extra toilet paper, but no paper towels. The living area furniture could be updated. The large pit group was well worn and not very comfortable.I would not stay at this property again.

Stay for short vacay

The first thing I'd like to say is I love that the host stayed in communication with me and tried to the best of her ability to make sure things were taken care of. With that being said, the place needs an upgrade and they probably would want to get a new cleaning service. My and other guests allergies were/are bad and the thickness of the dust under the beds, furniture and fans was awful. There's mold in the bathrooms, shower curtains, fans and windows. And alot of other things that were supposed to be available to us were missing. The patio doors do not lock, neither do the bedroom doors which was extremely scary while everyone is sleeping. The bushes outside of the house were blocking the doorway and extremely overgrown. Pool was dirty we never used it Location was great. Overall I wouldn't stay here again, wasn't worth the price. Love the hostess though.

Dallas Trip

The homes location was nice. It definitely needs some repairs. The pool gate fell completely off into the driveway. The pool and filter was disgusting. Two separate times we woke up to large bugs on the walls in the bathroom. The grass needed to be cut. We notified the host and they just replied we will look into it. We would not rent this home again.

Disappointing

We chose this property mainly because of the pool & outdoor space. Which was filthy - pool was filled with leaves, dirt, & a broken chunk of plastic. The surrounding patio was littered with cigarette butts (despite their no smoking policy). The landscaping was littered with deflated pool toys, garbage & a cushion. The fence door was broken & falling down. I messaged the property manager & they said they’d try to get someone out to clean it but they weren’t sure when. They never confirmed back to me but apparently sent someone while we were out. They cleaned out most of the leaves, but left the hunk of plastic in the pool, dirt, grime & cigarette butts still on the patio. inside the house, upon our arrival we found water all over the kitchen floor. Could not find the source of the leak. Let property manager know. Second morning of our stay, water all over the floor again. Still can’t identify source. Messaged property manager about the leak & about the half hearted attempt at cleaning the pool, no response. 5 hours went by. I followed up - there is water leaking somewhere in your kitchen! How are you going to address this? (They asked for pictures, said they’d try to send someone out, but didn’t). By far our worst vacation rental experience. kitchen floor..

Little bit worn and little false advertised

House had various broken lights and sockets and lights that had no bulbs.. refrigerator was leaking ice machine didn't work. And the game table that lured us to the property didn't work or have the pieces, Letting down all the children. But was a decent house that was dated and overall not a terrible deal but definitely let us down with expectations from listing.

Unable to enter property or contact host

We were in Plano for cardiac consultations and selected this location because of proximity to the hospital. Location is not bad; garage had things in it (old washer and dryer, etc...) and only small car would have fit. The primary problem was that the host relies on an electric door lock for access to the house - this door lock did not work properly and it may have been because of low batteries (battery light flashed). It was dark and freezing cold and we could not enter the home, nor could we contact the host by phone (the number rang to voice mail of what sounded like a travel agency in Kentucky or Tennessee, no response until next day). The only reason we were able to enter was my son checked the other doors on the house and found one that had been left unlocked (the back gate was hanging by one hinge and dangerous). Otherwise, we would have had to find other lodgings. The house surfaces were clean, but it smelled bad (this appeared to be from the sofa and other cloth covered furniture). Many lights did not work (back porch for example); the bed sheets besides the master had hair and appeared dirty. There were utensils and plates, but oddly only one fork and no cups. There was a splash of old food on the ceiling in the kitchen. Masterbath shower was dirty and shower curtain had mildew. Lastly, the heater had been left off, so when we entered the home it was 50 degrees (heat did work once turned on).

Convenient location

We were in town to visit family and I was looking for a pet friendly place. This house is very conveniently located near Park and Preston and had a fenced backyard. The family enjoyed being able to play pool each night before bed.

Great gathering home!

This is a great place to stay! It is very clean and has lots of different spaces for gathering one on one or in smaller groups. The rooms are neat and the beds comfortable. There are many activity spaces too, such as swimming pool (though it is kind of small), living room (TV & comfy couch), shuffleboard game table, dining table, 2 backyard sitting areas (in addition to the pool), kitchen, BBQ and all the bedrooms. The kitchen is long and has lots of good counter space. The frig was very clean!

Weekend Getaway

I loved this home and it was very clean. It was enough space for everyone to be comfortable and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. I hate we didn’t get a chance to get in the pool but this is definitely a home I will visit again in the summer

The perfect family spot

We booked this for a Cotton Bowl trip. The communication was amazing. Home was spotless. Exceeded our expectations in every way. Much bigger than we expected. The games were a super fun addition. Highly recommend.
