PRIVATE LAKE Egg Collecting FIRE PIT. You won’t find a property with so much to offer just 15 miles from Downtown Dallas, Rockwall, Sunnyvale and Rowlett. Your private home sits on a secluded acre that includes FIVE bedrooms to sleep 12 large family room with kitchen & bar game room with pool table 3 bathrooms also 6.3 acres with stocked pond. Sit next to FIRE PIT or relax in HOT TUB. Collect eggs cast a line off the FISHING DOCK or paddle out in CANOE, PADDLE BOAT, AND KAYAKS.

This home was so sweet and cozy. The owner is so very nice to work with. The chickens and horses were a hit for our families. There was a slight problem with the water freezing and his maintenance men were right there getting them thawed and they were very professional. Beautiful home to make family memories. Very lovely home!

Modern Oasis

The property is definitely an oasis in the midst of a very suburban area, not far off of I-30. The backyard is delightful, even though there was some street noise. Everything was very clean, and suited our group of 4 couples. The kitchen was well equipped, which was great for us cooking all our meals there. This house was perfect for our needs.

Wonderful Christmas vacation

Steve and his team were great, from booking all the way through check out. Communication was always quick and helpful. The property is beautiful, the home is spacious and well appointed. Exactly as described in the listing. It was too cold during our stay to spend much time outside, but we did use the hot tub one afternoon and sat around a big fire in the fire pit that evening. We, our children, and grandkids all had a great time and everyone agrees that we would stay here again without hesitation.

Great house

This house is a great place for small gatherings. It's super clean and well maintained. There are plenty of places for hanging out. The lawns are beautiful. It's in town but you wouldn't know it once your on the property. Very private and very nice.

We took our son, daughter and their families to visit the Ft Worth Zoo. This house was in a great central location for things in the area. It looked in person just as beautiful as it looked in the pictures online and was large enough to comfortably accommodate out group of 10!

Great hidden getaway!

What a wonderfully fixed up farm house tucked away in a private corner of the city! House was beautiful and clean, we loved having the feel of our own private area and ability to see horses, chickens and have the lake activities. We will definitely do it again!

Diamond in the rough

The property itself was GREAT! It’s a super cute farmhouse with a wonderful outdoor space. I only gave 4 stars for the “accuracy of the online listing” because the photo of the horse stables made me think we would have access to at least visit the horses but it is an official Riding School on the same property as the house and the stable staff wasn’t keen on us walking around and visiting the horses. Also gave 4 stars because the location/neighborhood isn’t the nicest but the house is gated so we felt safe. The owner was very nice and responded quickly! We would love to stay here again in the future!

Amazing Getaway!

The host was amazing, attentive, and accommodating. The kids loved seeing the chickens and collecting eggs! Also, the main living area is away from the bedrooms. So, we could put the kids to bed and hangout without worrying about the noise levels. We had a great time!

Great place!

This property is a little slice of heaven! It’s location makes it perfect to get up and go for shopping and dining and also enjoy the acreage it sits on with beautiful horses, chickens and the stocked pond. The host is super friendly and accommodated everything we needed. The house itself is amazing. Lots of updates and very clean. Loved the wooden floors and all the space in the kitchen. Great place to stay and we will be back!

Adventure close to Home

A more distant get together was initially planned but health concerns changed the situation. This spot close to home gave the children horseback riding, kayaking, paddle boating and a hen house enclosure where they collected eggs. The adults enjoyed being together in one spot with a beautiful grilling area, a covered hot tub and flowers everywhere bringing beautiful butterflies. Everyone had fun with s’mores around the fire pit. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bedrooms comfortable. The host was always easy to contact and accommodating. This was our first experience renting and it was definitely a positive one.
