Quiet high-end cottage surrounded by mature trees and picturesque pastures on a completely private farm. Yet, you are minutes from grocery stores and shopping and walking distance to a Tex-Mex restaurant.
Beautifully furnished private stone home with a large cook’s kitchen, laundry room, comfortable living room with two couches, dining space, dedicated work space, separate well-appointed bedroom with gorgeous outside views from your bed, full bath with brand-new fixtures including a large walk-in shower. The cottage has loads of natural light from the many large wood windows where bobcat, coyote, bunnies, peacocks, and farm animals often wander by.
You have access to an acre of outdoor dining and relaxing areas.
Included with you stay are complementary fresh eggs and honey both produced on the farm.

Lovely cottage, extremely clean, decor is somewhat rustic (like Ralph Lauren). I highly recommend. Back patio was perfect for coffee in the morning and to view the farm animals. Owner was available for any questions.

We chose this unique place while in town for Memorial Day ceremonies at DFW Military cemetery. Came across it due to its’ different surroundings and the animals especially having a 9 year old with us. It was very relaxing and very enjoyable to interact with the animals. John was a great host and glad we were able to meet him and learn more about the property.Everything was not too far away about 30 minutes or so. Well worth not booking a hotel room.

It was a fabulous stay! The cottage was gorgeous and had everything we needed. So close to town for all your needs, but felt in the country. The outdoor area was just perfect for the kids! We cooked on the grill, made a fire, visited the farm animals, and had a blast witha blast with their dog Skip! Would recommend and stay again!

Beautiful setting and very relaxing with easy access to main highways and airport. House was well maintained and supplied with pictures on the listing being up to date. Loved setting on the back porch with my coffee in the mornings. Very peaceful! Check in was a breeze.

Everything was wonderful thank you!Will recommend to family&friends.It was so fun waking up to the peakcocks on the front porch! Cons:Drive way was a little hard to find when we arrived late at night. And im not sure if it was mentioned in your listing but the house is not handicap accessable, my grandmothers walker could not fit in the small doorway of the bathroom. And we couldnt find a cutting board!

This cottage is the perfect peaceful getaway that’s close to everything! We loved the serenity of the surrounding pastures. The sheep and horses were so sweet! Such a memorable visit.. we will definitely book again! Thank you!!

Could not believe this cottage was not swallowed up by the surrounding metro area. Livestock and wildlife greeted as we arrived. The wild peacock entourage saw us off when we departed. The cottage had fresh eggs and honey waiting for us in the open kitchen. The instructions were clear and super easy. The accommodations were fantastic along with restaurant suggestions. Thanks for the fantastic get way experience.

We stayed here on our trip to visit our son and daughter-in-law in the area. From the moment we booked through our check out, John was a very communicative and hospitable host. We really enjoyed the property as it reminded us of home and was a quiet haven to come back to after a day of sightseeing. The home was very well equipped, and the eggs and honey from on site were a welcome surprise. We will definitely return when in the area.

This is a unique experience to be within a bustling urban setting, but nestled away on a small farm. We really enjoyed our time here and the interactions with the host were always insightful and prompt. Highly recommend.

It's in the perfect location - close to food shopping and entertainment but you feel off the grid. It's so clean and comfortable too. I've never felt so comfortable at a rental in all my travels. Owners were so gracious and responsive. I'll 100% stay here again!

Our stay on the property was nothing short of spectacular. We were met with true Texas hospitality. My children were greeted at a fence line of sheep and goats. The property owner and his dog greeted us with bread to feed the animals. My children were able to run around, pet the horses. It was a beautiful experience. I highly recommend visiting this property!

The experience at this cottage was amazing. Plenty of beautiful nature, goats, horses, bunnies, and a very well taken care of yard. The house itself was very cozy and well tooled care of, the interior got even more beautiful the more u looked at it.

You'll reach Bob White Cottage and find yourself right at home. I stayed here for a weekend getaway with a friend this December. We couldn't have asked for a better escape. The house was pristine and well stocked with the basics. Eggs and honey from the farm were made available in the kitchen, and when we took our hosts up on the offer of a barn tour, we were provided with even more. Smores kits and dry firewood were ready for us in the firepit outside. (And if you're into birding, I'm pleased to tell you even at the end of migrating season there's a shockingly large variety of birds on sight, including three types of woodpeckers and two types of kinglets.) Our sincerest thanks to our hosts, who were incredibly helpful and hospitable with every interaction we had. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone already considering it.
