"Lovely hotel. Very comfortable and welcoming. The staff are all very friendly and helpful . The bar downstairs also very welcoming and the bar staff were really friendly. "

"We were initially very tensed as we are going to Europe for first time. Communicated with the owners (Karen & George), they were very friendly and eased our anxiety. Karen met us after we checked-in and she was very friendly and helpful. My wife and daughter liked the glamping area very much, its safe. I highly recommend if you are planning for a trip to Loch Ness and need a small private atmosphere."

"Exceptional property, beautifully restored and decorated. Lovely common room for use by guests. Host was very friendly and available. Short walk into town (10 minutes) and only a bit further to a beautiful sandy beach (15 minutes). Delicious breakfast with barrista made coffee and option for home made bread."

"2-night stay at the Laichmoray. Double room 27 at ground floor rear of building. Quiet, good workspace with sockets. Bath/Shower & plenty of towels. Suited me perfectly...."

"Very highly recommended. The hotel has had a spruce up since I was last here and she's looking lovely. Very comfy beds and powerful shower with nice products. Great spa. Food and cocktails both delicious. Everyone super friendly and helpful. With local people coming in to use the pool or have a drink at the bar, it feels like part of the town as well rather than just a tourist enclave. We will be back. "

"We were touring around and this was a great location, with the beaches of Nairn nearby and good connections to travel wider afield to Inverness and Loch Ness in one direction and Aviemore in the other. The facilities were what you'd expect and we enjoyed the bar and dining in the restaurant on both nights we stayed there - excellent food and service. "What an absolutely beautiful place! We loved our room; it had so much character. We appreciated the kettle and coffee/tea in the room, the included breakfast; the restaurant on site, the wifi and the available parking. The grounds are also beautiful; you can sit at the tables along the river and admire the castle-like building. I wish we could have stayed longer. "

"What an amazing place to stay. From the cleanliness to comfort to amazing breakfast & the host Helen was really lovely. It felt like home away from home. Would highly recommend The Glen Lyon Lodge. "Great situation for the shops just a 5/10 minute walk away. Parking at the hotel is good. Rooms spacious and comfortable and clean the only thing that is a let down is the bathroom it’s a bit outdated found the shower slippy and no where to put your shower gel and shampoo.
