The check in and check out was not good. Front desk staff were not pleasant. They seemed unhappy to be working there and it showed in their interactions with me and our party. The hotel caters to a lot of tour groups and it’s chaos in the lobby when the bus drops off the large groups. I think staff is overwhelmed and are just going through the motion. They look like they do not want to be there.
This hotel is listed as a 5 stars. It was the 5th hotel we stayed at during our long trip in Vietnam. Service there was the worse and the facilities appear dated. It’s dark in much of the hotel, especially the common space. The hotel is at best a 3 star hotel. We had an executive room. Great ocean view but the carpet in the room was worn and dated.
Our stay included breakfast. It’s chaos there as well as there were no staff to greet us, so we found our own table. There was only one employee working the floor and the tables were not cleared for the next guest. Food was as terrible so we decided to eat out for the remainder of our trip.
In short, the only thing good about the hotel is its location across from the beach. Nothing else about the hotel is worth mentioning.
I cannot recommend this place. It’s the only hotel in my journey that I would not return to.
