Esta casa cuenta con master en main con sótano terminado con barra personalizada, mesa de billar, TV y mucho espacio para cenas íntimas o reuniones familiares. La sala de estar principal se puede convertir en una sala de reuniones corporativas o una noche íntima para 2 personas alrededor de la chimenea. Las vistas de nuestro lago privado de 100 acres se pueden ver desde todas las habitaciones en el piso principal con amplias ventanas que te permitirán estar en la calma de la naturaleza que rodea la casa. Tenemos gansos, patos que visitan cada mañana y vísperas y durante todo el día verá nuestras garzas blancas nevadas y garzas grises residentes. ¡Tome los kayaks explorando Twin Lakes o cárguelos y llévelos al cercano Lago Lanier o solo 20 minutos al norte para pasar y disfrutar de un viaje por el Chattahoochee! The house was great! The lake wasn’t the best for swimming, lots of weeds and muddy, but was great for kayaking and fishing! Very accommodating host!

Family gathering

We fished from the canoes, sat on the porch and watched storms and squirrels and egrets, hiked a nearby nature trail, played games around the dining table, played pool and really relaxed and enjoyed each other. This is a great place. The host was very accommodating and friendly.

Perfect getaway!

Had a such a great time at this property. It was perfect distance from Atlanta...not far from the city, but felt like we were much further away. Very secluded and serenic location that had everything our entire party needed. Plenty of room and activities for everyone in our party. We had an absolutely perfect weekend and the host was super helpful and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

A good place for friends or family of all ages to gather.

The setting and location were excellent. There were many places to comfortably gather inside, outside and on the wonderful porch overlooking the lake. There were so many activities for all ages. The kitchen and eating areas worked very well. We able to host a family reunion home cooked meal for 18.

This was our stay for friends and family for our daughters wedding, about 10 miles away. Our host was very responsive and very accommodating. The house was amazing. Loved the hot tub and the views. All of the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. We will define come back!

Very unique and nice home!

We had a great stay in very nicely set up home. Lots of stuff to do but also very relaxing. There are homes near by but very private and rarely saw anyone. I would definitely rent again if we are back in Atlanta for travel ball or a Braves game. The only negative I could find was the cornhole bags were bad and one was missing. There was also one broken kayak paddle.

Family wedding

This Cummings rental home was wonderful and perfect! We came together for my niece’s wedding. We had family traveling from Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia and Michigan. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and there was plenty of bathrooms to accommodate all of us. We gathered around the fire pit every night, used the hot tub, fished and kayaked,ate meals all together in the spacious kitchen/dining area and enjoyed every moment together. Jauxniece was a wonderful host, responding to any questions we had and checking in to make sure everything was going well for us. I highly recommend this Vrbo to anyone looking for a large place to gather with friends and/or family! It was perfect and filled us with wonderful memories!

Friends Reunion

The property was exceptional. Home felt very welcoming. This home had plenty of room. All of us had an amazing time. The surrounding neighborhood was very quiet. It was relaxing to either sit on the patio or the deck to enjoy the views of the lake, it's wildlife, and the piece and quiet. Just about every night we sat around the fire pit to socialize and enjoy the stars. Outside the home, the local town has many offerings - Entertaining. Lake Lanier is only 12 miles away, offering a larger lake to enjoy boating or wave runners. Would highly recommend.

Family Fun !

So much to do here, special place. We fished everyday in the lake. Everyone caught fish. Cooking and eating was easy. The hot tub was great, cornhole in the front yard, pool at night downstairs. Plenty within 10 min drive; food, coffee, gas, meat market, dining, bait store. Unfortunately Mother Nature got in the way with awful Tstorms that knocked out the power for 36 hours. Owner was in constant contact with us during this mini crisis, purchased generator and fans to try and help out, couldn’t have asked for more. We had a great stay minus this uncontrollable hiccup that nobody could have prevented! Highly recommended!

Contact owner before booking - disappointed

The owner was easy to contact. She asked for list of items to be fixed on our departure. The hot tub/tv on back porch never worked. Some jets on one side worked. Plans for back porch party had to change. One of the main reason that I picked this property. All disappointed! In the bonus room: ceiling leak(had rain), queen bed needs cross boards to support box springs, several wasps in the room b/c of nest outside window. Grandson was afraid to sleep in the room. Dishwasher never worked. We hand washed everything for the 3 days. Positives: The house was very clean. Linens & towels well stocked. Appreciated the generator as storms were predicted.We didn't use the grills so dnk their condition. All liked the game room, kayaks, and the fire pit. Thanks for the wood! The hiking trail was very convenient-hiked on Sunday. I won't book a VRBO again unless I message the owner to confirm all amenities are working.

Great fall getaway

We had a good time at this home! Plenty of games and outdoor activities for the family, and we loved the hot tub. It was close to the mountain for a nice hike and drivable to other spots. Would just be helpful to have check-in information at the house to know how to work the TV, hot tub, etc. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful Lakehouse

Nice pleasant, quite with a beautiful lake and mountain views. Home was well equipped with lots amenities. We enjoyed fishing in the lake and relaxing in the hot tub. The home had everything we needed to prepare our meals from appliances to the grills.

Great experience. The house was lovely and the property was perfect for our combined families. Plenty for the children to do and a short drive to town. The owner was responsive and kind. The house was well appointed. We will definitely stay there again!

The place was better than described. We were a group of 8 and had a lovely time. Jauxniece was very responsive and at times went out of her way to help us and make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Relaxing Setting

We enjoyed fishing in the lake and especially kayaking. Very relaxing and private area. It is a comfortable home and spacious bedrooms. Our family enjoyed the weekend getaway. The property manager was wonderful and great with communication. Home offers everything you would need for a recreational weekend!

Lake Love

My friend described our stay perfectly when she said “it is as if our best friend let us use her lake house for the weekend”. This property is private and so peaceful. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds are divine. I felt so comfortable there that I had to remind myself that I was, at some point, leaving. There are so many neat things nearby-a quick walk up the road takes you to Swanee trails and a great walking path. We picked up breakfast at Guy’s Biscuit Barn, a unique and yummy experience. Groceries, restaurants are all nearby. The host is very responsive and kind. The lake is small and private but good for fishing, it seems. We didn’t get to take the kayaks out but it was fun that they were available. We woke so early and did so much we were too tired to stay up long enough to use the fire pits (there were two). We were in town to spend time with friends and family and this was a great place to do so. The bedrooms were split, one downstairs with a en-suite bath and three upstairs with a shared bath. As we were two couples we each had our own floor for sleeping, very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet lake home - with the views of Sawnee Mountain and the surrounding pastures, we felt as though we would out in the country! Very quiet, beautiful setting and the house was spacious.

Disappointed but Likely Situational

I have delayed in writing this review because I know that the home is likely quite nice under normal circumstances. We arrived after apparently a long rental who did not take care of the house and the turn around time did not seem to be quite enough time, so there were some things that were not ready for us. The oven was filthy- I even recleaned it / self cleaned and scrubbed, which was for sure better but even then not the best because I didn't want to spend vacation cleaning. Several tvs didnt work or remotes didn't work. They did replace a tv the same day, which was nice - but disruptive. The TV outside by the hottub didn't work but was touted as a big selling point - and honestly my teen son would've loved to watch a movie while in the hot tub. The rooms upstairs also were a bit of a surprise. There is a bonus room that is connected through a bedroom and there is another exit only through stairs and a garage- so not for kids (our 13yo didn't feel comfortable either)- and in order to go to the bathroom the child has to walk through the room. Elderly grandparents had to stay on the main floor because the stairway railing was loose and we were nervous they'd mis-step. . We also had an unfortunate timing and the owners seeded the lawn while we were there, which greatly disrupted our stay as we were just trying to hang out and relax in the back yard with our dog. Our dog was unable to be on the lawn and we didn't get to enjoy the yard as we had hoped. We spent a great deal of money for the property so we could relax *in* - we live only an hour away so don't need excursions- and were all very disappointed. Our 13 and 16yo wanted to leave after the first day but we convinced them to stay bc the grandparents had not gone anywhere for a year bc of the pandemic. The owner did try to work with us, but really asking us to be ok with seeding and not walk on the lawn is not reasonable- I am sure the house is typically enjoyable, but our experience was unfortunately not. We did receive some discount but even that did not make a dent. We took it as a loss and lesson learned.

Family Reunion/Birthday

There were twelve of us. It was the first time we were able to all be together & everyone have a bed. My son lives 12 minutes away, so most of the daytime/evening there 18 of us at the house. We had plenty of room & everyone well entertained with there was to do. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
