Waterfront family home on Smith Lake

Breathtaking 180 degree uninterrupted waterfront views. Wake up to see the lake from every bedroom! Located just 10 minutes from I-65 with gentle roads for easy access to the lake. Only a few steps down to year round deep water from private dock. Kid friendly home with fully fenced in yard and gated dock access. Community accessible infinity pool, pickleball court, and basketball court.

Ideal entertainment space with 2,800 sq ft indoors, covered outdoor patio and large composite deck over the water, and private boat slip and swim pier. Fiber, high speed internet!

Main floor (second floor):
Open kitchen and living room space with stunning views of the lake with walk out deck with outdoor dining table. Half bath. Master Bedroom with King bed (sleeps 2), large connected private bathroom with rain shower and soaking tub, and exterior door for easy deck access. Main living room with smart TV, coffee bar and half bathroom.

Third floor:
Upstairs Bedroom (sleeps 5) includes Queen bed with XL twin trundle bed, and 2 twin daybed with trundle pullout. Ensuite private full bathroom. Upstairs living room is ideal for kids entertainment with large sectional including queen sofa bed (sleeps 2), smart TV with DVD player and many movies.

Bottom floor (1st floor):
Queen bedroom (sleeps 2) with exterior access to covered patio and deck, and private connecting full bathroom. Downstairs entertainment room/4th BR includes large sectional with pullout queen sofa bed (sleeps 2), smart TV, and connecting full bathroom. Washer/dryer with laundry room and full size second fridge located between bedroom and 4th bedroom/entertainment room.

Family friendly additions:
All stairs have infant safety gates. All exterior doors have infant safety handles. Upper deck is fully enclosed/fenced. Back yard, patio and deck are fully enclosed with gate to dock access. Infant safety electrical outlets installed. Glider and changing table in master. Pack n play, high chair, baby books, and kids dining utensils available.

We had a great time at this lake house. This home is in immaculate shape and offers so much. It's a great, quiet location and they have everything you need especially if you have young children. The hosts were very informative and responsive. This was our first visit to Smith Lake and we not only plan to go back but we plan to try to rent this same house again!

Amazing Property

We had the best time at the lake. We spent every waken minute swimming in the lake. Watched amazing sunsets and enjoyed much needed family time. Property was just as described; very well equipped and kid friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Home and Great Location!

We had a fantastic week at Cookies Lake House! The home is lovely, and well appointed with anything you might need including water toys, kids toys, and child proof safety features. We had a 17 month old with us and the pack-n-play, changing table, and highchair were a huge help. The beds were very comfortable and our family of 11 had plenty of room. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating. This is a top notch rental and we hope to enjoy it again!

Good time

Nice place very close to neighbors good boat dock house is set up well but not truck and trailer friendly I managed but it was a chore All in all it was a good place we had a lot of fun if you have small children this house is set up for them. Pool is not user friendly if you walk you will have a hike up a hill or need a golf cart or your vehicle. Would stay here again

Great Spaces

We enjoyed the location (very convenient from I65), and there were many different spaces to gather, sit and watch the sun go down, grill, relax, or plunge into Smith Lake from the boat dock. We used one of the hosts recommendations and had a pontoon boat conveniently delivered to the boat dock. Great week, Joseph

Best lake trip yet!

Perfectly located! It’s our 6th year coming to smith lake and this was our best so far. House is super close to interstate and had room for everyone. House was very well stocked and everything worked well. We will definitely stay here again

Fabulous home!!

We loved this home and will definitely stay here again! Owners thought of everything! Makes you feel like you’re staying at a friends home! The views of the lake are beautiful! The deck and all the usable space is amazing!! Very convenient location too! Andy was wonderful to deal with as well!

Amazing week getaway

Had a great week at this VRBO! Check in process was easy, and smooth- house was beautifully aquatinted, felt homey, and very spacious. The photos online do not just do a justice!! We got locked out of the home once and Andy immediately called us to resolve the issue and was fixed it with a blink of an eye. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be back to Camp Cookie!!

Wonderful Family Vacation

The hosts, the house, the view of the lake were all amazing. The pictures of the house are exactly what you see. Andy the host was very responsive. The kitchen had everything you needed which was a plus. We’ve stayed in many rentals and I can say this one was the best. Views of water at sunset and sunrise were just beautiful. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfection!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is not far from the interstate, so location was easy. The house has a great layout and plenty of room. The walk down to the water/dock is short and easy. And the pool is stunning and wonderful for children, even our little who can’t swim as it’s zero entry and has a large wading section. This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay! Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Fishing and Boating Trip

Property had a great location, easy access to dock, very clean. House was well stocked, they thought of all the little details. Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space. Brought our own boats to fish and wakesurf, had calm deep water, tied up to the dock, and took multiple trips out on the water. Enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.

Lake Vacation

We had a blast at this location. The house is new, clean, and came very well stocked with kitchen supplies. We loved the outdoor entertainment space and paddle boards. We brought our own boat and had plenty of room to keep it under the boat house. Highly recommend staying here!

Just what the doctor ordered. Amazing views of the Lake, plenty of room for our whole family. It’s was the perfect lake house for us. We had a great time. Looking for a house to stay at on the Lake I highly recommend this one.

Gorgeous home with a gorgeous view

This was such a happy find! Everyone in our group (aged 4 to 93) had a wonderful experience and found something to do while on vacation. The lake is one of the cleanest and nicest lakes I’ve ever been to (and I’ve seen lakes all over the US and world.) We are so happy we decided to book this location and house. The home is kept beautifully and has everything one might need at a lake. Most of our group took out floats and paddle boards on the lake (superb) and some were happy to just sit on the multiple deck options watching the scenery. Everyone was relaxed and comfortable. The owner was also incredibly responsive and available for a couple of questions we had. Amazing communication. Highly recommend this property - and if you’re trying to decide on visiting Smith Lake or not - do it!!

Beautiful home on Smith Lake!

My family and I rented this property on Smith Lake for Memorial Day. The host was extremely accommodating and very quick to respond to my questions! The home is absolutely gorgeous and we had everything we needed there to enjoy our four day stay. The home was very clean and just as described in the listing. Would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home!
